ON numerous occasions NS has given props to KS on how he handled the game plan and managed the defense in a game. IF you watch during the games it is KS making all the calls and NS is listening on his headphones with lips closed. I am sure during a time out that NS and KS may chat about something they want to do, but that is what a HC does. For those trying to minimize the importance of KS to the Bama D are short sighted and fans of teams who have not won a title in the past 2 years

KS will continue to be a puppet until he takes a outside of Saban.

"it's Saban's defense. puppet Kirby is easily replaceable. Saban however is irreplaceable."

I certainly hope every AD in the country feels the same way about ALL Alabama's coaching staff. Maybe they'll leave them alone.

Tenn is stupid for not offering him "Chavis" the HC position.
I don't think he wants to be a HC. He's been an assistant for like 20 something years and I don't think he's even ever put in for a HC position.

Since we are bringing up past games, how did your Heisman winner do versus that DC?

Chavis needs far superior talent to dominate imho. When he was at Tennessee he won with superior talent just like he's doing in Baton Rouge. When Tennessee started to play teams with equal talent, that's when "third and Chavis" started. I don't think he's an X's and O's genius or anything he just does well with better players.

I never saw them put 14 on the field this year so it has been worse, much worse.
