exactly. if you are on the fence about the whole thing, the play isn't to release a statement to the media and see how the public reacts

I don't really care about the band issue one way or the other. I personally like to see other bands, but to each their own.
BUT
To have an administration that consistantly reverses course... The Les Miles disaster of last year and now this...
The entire admin lacks chest, spine, testicular fortitude. They fold under any amount of pressure. They are the parent that caves when the kid throws a tantrum.
This is not leadership.

Yep and as you said earlier this is a problem in the administration, not just the AD. Unless Alleva is telling all his advice "idgaf", which I highly doubt.
