Now this begs for the rest of the SEC to say... "Nah, we decided not to send our bands to your stadium. We're good."
It does nothing but make LSU look bad. Don't want bands to play on your field? Fine.
We will make some jokes and then ignore it. Make a bold statement you won't do it and then collapse less then a week later?
Louisiana must have an amazingly talent rich footprint to do as well as they do with this band of derps running the show. I am not, for once, poking fun at LSU fans here... but Jesus your AD sucks. How the hell are you as successful as you are with him running the show?

I could have understood the decision better if LSU had a huge waiting list for season ticket holders and simply needed the seats to increase revenue.

This is a good move and props to the admin for listening to the fans and taking it to heart. One thing about the whole band issue is that AD's covet the time allotted to the bands for one reason: in stadium commercials.
That's exactly where that time taken away from bands goes and why they tried this.

God your AD is fing terrible. Why you took him away from the dumpster fire he helped throw water at Duke on is beyond me.

I think I would take Bill Byrne our terrible former AD back over Alleva.
He should have known that the other SECW teams would tell the LSU band to stay home.

I feel bad for all the lsu posters who had to find something to defend about this decision at first just to have it overturned does that mean even the AD agreed with everything everyone else said ???
