The answer to your question about stopping Dak is simple...CHEST, which cannot be measured...ok, maybe it can be measured but LSU D-Line has it and the Cowbells don't.

The same can be said of LSU. If they go to an I-form with 3 wide like they did against Wisconsin that will leave only 5 in the box for state.

That leaves 6 in the box and most likely 7 until proven it's the wrong move. When has Jennings has proven capable of beating someone with his arm?

This -- about Dak -- is hilarious. You'll find out why.

Uh....not sure if serious, but if State's plan is to leave a CB on Dural with only one safety over the top, then this game is going to get out of hand pretty early.

It is indeed. It's not your secondary that will be tested

But we'll start stunting like the 2nd half of Wisconsin Game, if needed.

If we make you one-dimensional, trouble for MSU.

LSU was without 4 DTs in the Wisconsin game. There were communication issues in the first game that improved as the game wore on. After Gordon's 67 yard run, LSU has given up an average of 2.2 yards per play. The DTs settled down and LB play has greatly improved.

LSU has massive talent in the front 7. The talent is getting experience and has gotten better with each quarter of play. The Secondary is just nasty.

Are you basing everything on the first 33 minutes of the first game and certain breakdowns that happened then that were corrected in the same game? Every team has had breakdowns at certain points. The front 7 fixed it in the very first game and have been dominant since.

You can discount the Sam Houston game, but holding ULM to 91 yards for the game speaks to a dominant defense, no matter how you want to look at it.

The Front 7 is not as great as the past - yet. But they are talented and getting better. Miss. St. will have their hands full.

You really think he requires triple coverage with a QB that won't have time for shite in the set that was described and completes 51.9% of his passes?

LOL

I'm still waiting on a link for this.

Why are you assuming he's not talking about relativity to football. Are you stupid?

So, you are going to play man with one safety over the top AND blitz your LBs? That should work well.

State isn't going to force the ball out of Jennings' hand early without blitzing. Our O-Line has done great in pass protection this year. If state only has one safety over the top Dural is going to run by the CB all night.

According to your 24/7 writer your O-Line hasn't been good at anything so far. I'll take his word over yours.

Nothing personal, but he does get paid...

Link? I'd like to read the article.

Our O-line was underwhelming while run blocking last week against a far inferior ULM team. I haven't seen any problems in pass protection this year.

ETA. The O-line has only allowed 6 sacks through 3 games with 3 of those sacks coming in the first game.

3 WRs with one safety over the top means state would have 7 in the box. You really think that's a smart play by a team that's giving up over 300 yards passing a game?

If state goes 2 safeties over the top that's 6 in the box. That's hat-for-hat numbers for LSU's running game. I'm sure they would take that all day.
