re: LSU fans: You're not worried about Coach O & his ties to the Ole Miss cheating?

I never said Miles was a shite coach. I said that Coach O is better. It's an opinion, just like yours. You don't have to like it. You can go back to sulking on the rant if you want.
Just like i habe the right to post facts that make your opinion seem ignorant. No one was even trying to hire Ed orgeron as a coordinator, let alone head coach.
Miles was justly fired but to sit here and say the worst coach in ole miss history is better than miles just further proves to everyone that your opinion can be ignored.
The last time Ed orgeron ran a program he won 3 sec games in 3 years. The last time miles ran a program it was the most successful tenure in that program's history. So please continue letting us know how a 55 year old career position coach is somehow better than a coach with 2 successful tenures at p5 programs.

Miles became a shite coach in the last years of his tenure. The game has passed him by. That's why no one will hire him.
Wasn't the biggest fan of the hire, but O has done a pretty good job so far; embarrassing UF loss notwithstanding. Give him his due.

It's telling watching all these lsu posters tout Orgeron like he has veen successful as anything other than a dline coach or recruiting coordinator.
Would Ed Orgeron be in the top 10 candidates for the bama job?ohio state job? Michigan job? Fsu job? Hell no. He wouldnt be in the top 5 for the vandy job. But hey he sounds like us.

How about let's wait and see what the facts are after his first season as the HC, sport? Or are you just too eager to try and make someone "seem ignorant" to actually give a dude a chance? Yeah. We know.

Being out of work for 5 months in no way means no one will hire him. You have no idea what was offered to miles. He is 63. There are 2 coaches older than 62 right now and it's saban and snyder. Please show me all these 63 year old coaches getting job offers.
Miles last 5 years= 4 10 win seasons( yes im counting mcneese) 4 top 16 finishes
In no way is that shite coaching.
Miles was justly fired but it was because he didnt keep lsu at the standard HE SET. The last 5 years at lsu would be good enough at 99% of cfb programs. Thats not shite coaching.

The irony is glorious. Why didnt you wait for a season to claim that a 55 year old career dline coach was a better coach than the most successful coach in lsu history?

And you guys are just ok with hiring the coach who pretty much ruined Ole Miss?
A lot of LSU fans (myself included) were not ok with his hiring and some still aren't. If you want me to worry, the following has to happen in this specific order: you present evidence that he is a cheater, I consider it and likely get worried. Change the order, even a little bit, and the whole thing falls apart.

Because I believe that. The difference is that I'm not wasting my time trying to convince you or "make you seem ignorant" in an lame effort to boost my ego. I'm just being a fan on an internet sports forum.

Come on, man. You already proclaimed him to be a better coach than Miles without waiting and seeing.

I would have preferred Aranda being promoted but retaining him and bringing in Canada eased my tension

How many interviews did he have to be a DC? Not a HC, but a DC? Not many, if any at all.

Trying to convince? I posted facts about each coach's tenures. Im sorry if those facts point away from your opinion.
Saying Ed Orgeron had the worst tenure in ole miss history isnt trying to convince you. Its reality.
Saying Miles had the best tenure in lsu history and one of the best tenures in SEC HISTORY isnt trying to convince you. Its reality.
Im sorry reality doesnt fit your opinion.

That was my opinion too. At least we know our defense would be solid every year and we couldve tried to make a great up and coming coordinator a lsu lifer. He is more qualified than Ed Orgeron.
Ed oregon has never ran a successful offense, defense, or program in his 32 years of coaching, 29 of which has been as a position coach.

He's going to do better at LSU than he did at Ole Miss

There is no reason, with better playcalling and QB development, that those could not have been 4 Top 10 finishes. If they were, Miles would still have a job. That's the point.
Do you watch football outside of LSU? Outside of LF being Superman, we were a mess on offense the last 2 years and 4 games of 2016. It was because of Miles/Cameron outdated ideas and antiquated practice methods.
