I have explained this many, many times turd. And Metairie has several Bama alums/fans, along with Ole Miss and Auburn fans as well. A lot of people live here podna.

Thank God there are no Bama fans in my neighborhood. There is an Auburn fan and I throw up in my mouth every time I pass by his house when his Auburn flag is flying. For some reason I didn't see it this year at all

I can only speak for myself here. I really don't follow LSU players in the league because I guess I really have not followed the NFL much this year and or the last couple of years because the Saints suck donkey dick! When they suck, so does the rest of the NFL.

I don't know.

On a related note, why do Alabama fans start more threads about LSU than they do about Auburn and Tennessee combined?

Why do you care so much about a college when you, in fact, couldn't get into a college?

I know some people from LA get a kick out of dickriding Bama in a state full of LSU fans. It's actually pretty pathetic

I work with a few like this. They have no ties to the State of Alabama or the University, but wear Bama gear and are "fans" because Bama is a "good" team. I don't care who they cheer for, but I find it odd they go out of their way to display their fandom when playing LSU!

They parallel ULL fans!

Not really.

It's just what they are falling back on right now. They do have some players that are doing well in the NFL but they are shorting some Bama players that are having nice years but yea, this is something they can point to and say look, our players are NFL players when they really are disappointed these guys got beat by Bama in college.

LSU fans probably think Paxton Lynch should have won the Heisman. After all, he is the most pro-ready player for the 2016 draft according to the pundits and the Heisman is all about how great of a pro you are gonna be, right?

You have no idea what you're talking about

Most don't but why do you think caring about how they do in the NFL is a bad thing? I love seeing LSU guys in the NFL do really well. But yes, I do love it more when they do really well while at LSU.

Quite sure Alabama has had a losing season more recently than LSU.

Also, goes to show that Bama fans are incapable of thinking beyond the collegiate level. Or even at the collegiate level.

You people are 'tarded for sure.

Far from a bandwagoner bud!! I was getting heckled in the 3rd grade for being a Saints fan when all my other friends were Cowboys and Redskins fans. I am talking back in the Archie days and the 1-15 days when I watched every game. Actually laughed at them when we won the SB telling them, "Oh what y'all Saints fans now because they are winning?". I don't know if it is just the fact that I am getting older or that the game has changed so much over the last couple of years, but either way I feel I have earned the right to watch them or not. Season ticker holder from 2000 - 2005.

Many CFB programs claim to care about their players, but at LSU it really is the truth.

Opinion. It is precious that y'all now think you are the Auburn Fambly.

quote:

much of this comes from the fact that La. has the Saints and we actually realize that the vast majority of these young men want to succeed in the NFL more than winning a championship at an academic institution of higher learning that has an amatuer football team.

Everyone knows that these kids want to make it to the league. The Saints being in Louisiana has nothing to do with anything else you tried to imply it does, because this includes other schools located in states with NFL teams.
As a fan and supposed alum of LSU it seems like you would care about LSU being successful in what they are actually competing more than what it ex players do when they leave. Of course everyone wants it alums to be successful, this isn't exclusive to LSU.

quote:

On the flip side of this equation is the attitude of Bama fans about their former players. Bama fans could care less what happens to their former players and are only concerned with winning championships

Such bullshite. Bama fans being concerned with winning championships does not mean they don't care about former players. You must be high.

quote:

Hell, many of them openly brag about not caring about the NFL.

So?

quote:

fact that a professional league exists only reminds them how pathetic they are that the NFL doesn't deem the state of Al. important enough to put a franchise there.

Trying to hard here.

That wasnt at all what you did. You didn't ask if we felt this way you made the assumption that all LSU fans definitely feel this way. Then when called out as an obvious (although pathetic) troll attempt you claim to just be asking an innocent little question.

You are obviously very insecure and extremely bothered by the fact that the majority of Bama players that are drafted end up being mediocre or just complete busts while LSU has a decent amount of players currently considered elite at their positions.

This little nugget buried in one of your posts pretty much proves my point! Its pretty sad when even while trolling for Bama the best you can come up with is "having nice years" Talk about trying to hard - lol

We like to see our local LSU kids succeed at a high level. Sort of like when someone who attended Alabama gets promoted to Manager at the local trailer park.

It's actually so easy to get under your skin, cajunGump

This was all due to an AJ McCarron in-game thread yesterday started by Bama fans so who is really obsessed with their former players in the NFL? That was followed by at least three threads about former Bama players including a whole thread devoted to that fat arse in Green Bay

Y'all are just proving #InsecureU to be true and that you are emotionally and mentally affected by what LSU posters say on this message board
