The worst part about the Alabama program (outside of all the cheating that they get away with) is the bad fans they have that comprise the vocal majority. They make y'all look way worse than what you actually should and because y'all are so good it gets magnified that much more.

My opinion of the Alabama football program is that they rightly deserve the success they have. They've invested heavily in the program, support their program, and have the best head coach in the business.

It is frustrating that they are the obstacle that they are to us when it comes to our own success, but that's just how sports is. They are at the top right now, and we have to compete. If it wasn't Alabama, it would be some other program standing in our way, like Florida or Auburn.

Regarding Saban, I'm not "butthurt" over it any more. He's been there long enough now to where he's "theirs" and it feels like he was never "ours," once. He has no great love for LSU, so there's no reason to reciprocate.

I guess the main feeling is not really jealousy of Alabama for their championships. Much more prevalent is the wish that they just weren't in our way as much as they are.

TLDR version: yeah, I hate 'em. But their success is well earned. Can't say much otherwise.

Well said.

I would like to add that the Alabama fans are very entertaining on here and irl.

Seriously bro? Three of your most recognizable fans are a tea bagging sex offender, a guy that got so butthurt over a loss he poisoned trees, and a lunatic lady that calls into a sports talk show to incoherently bitch about any negative press Alabama gets.

Respect the program...

Love the state...

The fans? Definitely a mixed bag. Some great ones that are fun for tailgating / talking football. However, a vast percentage of them seem to be a Darwinian experiment gone horribly wrong.

Their fans are awesome. You can't judge the entire fanbase over 3 or 4 bad apple. I went to the 2012 Alabama A&M game. We were invited to random tailgates and never heard a bad word even after the loss when we were walking around town

There's not a hill of beans difference between the physical talent level of LSU and Alabama.

It's all HC/OC-QB coaching and recruitment, team preparation and game management. All heavily in favor of Bama.

Most of us fully realize this. We know what the problems are, but are powerless to fix them. Only Miles can fix it and his last chance is 2016 ........

With Alabama being my second favorite school to root for, I have plenty of great things to say about the program. They are the class of college football at the moment. But I agree with the post a couple above me. The fans are very insecure despite success. It's really strange. on this board, they tend to be sore winners, often trolling and flaming after a big win instead of accepting praise from their defeated opponents. But I still find them knowledgable of the game and very respectful when they come to Tiger Stadium.

Never really had any issue with the program or who the coach is.

the "fans" on the other hand are some of the worst people to deal with ever. In real life or a msg board. Just who they are, it's basically all they got, I get it but they are, a majority 50.1% if you will are not folks I like to be around
