I mean, insecure fans come with an insecure university. Amazing how many Bama fans even care what LSU fans think of them in a thread for LSU fans made by a non- Bammer fan.

I was born and raised in Louisiana. It was beat into my skull that my two favorite teams were LSU and whoever Alabama was playing that weekend. So we can start with that.
Saban leaving the program for the Dolphins.. No big deal. Good for him.
When he left Miami for Bama, that was just unbelievable. It was unreal. I eventually realized Saban has no loyalties. He is a businessman. That's all he cares about.
Their current run is amazing and we may never see anything like it again. Saban is the best recruiter in the game, an outstanding defensive coach and does a great job putting together a solid coaching staff.

They are really good with the best talent and coach in college football. My hate for them is only because if they were not in the way, we would have a few championships plus a few top ranked recruiting classes...
Hard not to respect a program like that. But I can also say that Les has done a good job at LSU with over 100 wins, 2 SEC titles and a national title. Not many fanbases can say that. He just happens to be in the same division with someone better.

Auburn did most of those things with Eugen Chizik and a hick high school coach and they had a player win a Heisman.

Saban came from the Bilicek coaching tree. A man, arguably the biggest cheat in modern football.
Alabama football is synonymous with cheating. They've institutionalized it into their culture long before Saban got there.

They are still gumps, but you have to respect the hell out of their program and their coach for what he does on the field.
