BH has a load of potential and an athletic ceiling into the stratosphere that is as developed as an 8 year old with downs syndrome. Great kid, lots of potential, and doesn't know that he doesnt know shite and needs a lot of work. He would need a private QB coach intensively training him and making him study the game. He'd have to develop accuracy and learn to trust his athletic ability under pressure. So, basically, none of this will happen and he's going to be another waste of athletic potential. He'll be working at a car dealership in Shreveport within 5 years.

Am I wrong?

Can't say for sure. He showed flashes, and has all the arm talent in the world.

If someone can coach him adequately he could be a serviceable QB.

More raw talent, but not as accurate as Del Rio or Appleby.

FWIW, I thought Appleby was clearly better than LDR last year.

don't think he was ever able to 'slow down the game'..could've have been Les' vaunted Offensive philosophy

Wouldnt need to spend a lot of time practicing screen, slant, or short out passes...those plays dont work for him...and dont expect him to hit any golf carts either...
BUT, he did say he had the strongest arm in CFB...

Cannon for an arm, needs a great deal of work on accuracy and reading a defense quickly. Athletic, but doesn't have much pocket presence.

Translation: the potential is there but it's certainly questionable whether he'll ever realize it

yes looked at the film he was quite impressive, I would sleep well if I was a gator fan knowing he was at the helm.

Don't really know what Butter Teeth is thinking even looking at other QB's, probably just in case Brady--I mean Appleby gets hurt.
