You understand that having a big arm doesn't really matter when you completely shite and go blind in the face of any pressure at all, right? I'm so tired of seeing this narrative from LSU fans. The whole "arm talent" argument is done. He doesn't have the mental talent for the position, and it's not the system's fault. He picked up football very late and never fully understood the game. He's an average runner, he doesn't handle pressure well, he doesn't handle adversity well, and he has a wildly inaccurate arm on shorter passes.

But he'll be good in the right fit because he can throw the ball 60 yards, because that's literally the only thing a quarterback needs to be good at and all. Lol

AU recruited him, so I have a small interest in his career. Huge arm. Tight spiral, which indicates great mechanics. Think Chris Leaf. Personality - he has a big ego and a lot of confidence. He would excel under a disciplinary type head coach, and a QB coach that understands the fine details of the position. Going to LSU was the worse school for his skill set and personality.

He can spin it, but not accurately. He also lacks pocket presence and doesn't go through progressions.

He should have gone with a read option offensive system. Maybe AU. He would have been pretty good.

If you have several 7 foot WR's he's a perfect fit

Pros: great arm, mobile, decent decision maker

Cons: only uses one read, not accurate, no touch, discouraged easily, couldn't read a defense if his life depended on it.

Overall, if he gets better coaching, he could do well. The talent is definitely there.

Brandon Harris had potential to be a really good QB. Part of his problem was Les but part of it was himself.

He has one year left. I'm not sure I would bother.

He doesn't have it mentally. Gets the yips and then can't throw. Great backup though.

Not a very accurate passer in the short game, throws a nice deep ball. Not as mobile as I thought he would be.
Seems to be a good kid.
Handled demotion as expected.

Really hard to say with the offense he was being asked to run under Miles and Cameron.

Once O took over, Etling led the team admirably and didn't ever do anything to warrant Harris getting back in there.

I can't see him going somewhere unless he is really confident he can win job. Without a spring I can't see him picking up an offense like Fla in a short period of time for one year.

Kind of like if Bama loses every game this season.

Good kid. Big arm. Can't hit the side of the stadium from 10 yards out. Has shown 0 ability to think under pressure.

Cam did him no favors.

Big arm. Good feet. Bad on the decision making under pressure...believes in his arm too much.See his decision making in last minutes of the Wisconsin game this year. He was not watching one of his receivers breaking into the open.

Personally I think George "the Charlatan" Whitfield screwed him up.

Even as an LSU fan, this would be amazing to witness.

The only thing stopping Brandon Harris from being a great QB is the ability to be a great QB.

in his defense he had a tight spiral on those mini footballs he was throwing in the Highland Parade in Shreveport yesterday!

He's a good kid with talent. His main issue is between the ears. If the game could slow down for him he would flourish
