It looks like Butters maybe considering bringing him to UF. Personally I think it's another terrible move if it happens and shows once again this staff has zero clue. Am I wrong?

Look at the bright side. If McElwain brings him in and he is the starting QB for Florida in a win over LSU the melt will be phenomenal.

He is a good kid. Under the right offensive system he may flourish

Big arm, zero touch. Mobile but not much pocket presence. Good luck

If you have receivers able to go up 3 or 4 rows deep for out routes you can probably make it work.

I'm not really sure. We'll know for sure after this season but by all accounts he's a really good, nice guy IRL and handled his transfer with as much class as you possibly can, but on the other hand he has an immature, almost vindictive side and can stir up shite like following a bunch of coaches on Twitter after he got pulled for playing like shite. I personally think he doesn't have control over his emotions (on field and off) and likes to start some drama occasionally and is a net negative for a program considering he's not a good QB at this point at all. But he's a great kid who you'll never catch getting arrested, etc.

The only tool he doesn't have is an extremely important one and that is Accuracy. The only pass he has shown accuracy with is long bombs, can't throw screen passes, short passes or intermediate passes.

i used to agree about that game but looking back he didn't play outstanding. just solid. he was so mediocre the rest of the time it makes this game look incredible.

Could have potential with the right coaching.

Very smart kid, good size, pretty good athlete, HUGE arm strength, absolutely terrible pocket awareness and touch on short passes.

I think his nerves get the best of him in games and he reverts to panicking and throwing too hard.

Not everyone has the temperament to be a QB at a high level.

He'd be a decent QB if someone could teach him how to be accurate with his throws.

Harris has plenty of talent, the right fit and system could turn him into a viable option.

Lacks pocket presence, awareness.

Trys to throw through defenders, leading to turnovers.

Seems like a good person. All the talent in the world don't think he is very coachable. Cam and Les weren't great with QB's but some of his struggles were his own fault and he could have fixed himself. If you ever listen to his high school coach talk about him then you see why. He was raised in a culture where he did no wrong. Another coach might be able to get more out of him but I don't see him ever being a good SEC qb. He could go to a sun belt or something like that and be good tho.

do you really need anyone to tell you about this guy? He is a terrible QB, and has shown immaturity as well.

the man can throw bullets and is damn accurate on long passes. if y'all have WR's that can go up and get the bombs from the DB he will elevate your deep game and stretch the field, which you need.

his problems are with accuracy on short to medium throws and with pocket awareness. so he can have really bad games sprinkled in with very good outings. he had a monster run game at LSU or he would be dead now; killed by SEC DLinemen and LB's.
