If that 70% chance of rain plays out you will probably see a lot of yellow - as in rain slickers.

As far as playing conditions, I would anticipate that a wet field/rain would benefit LSU.

What effect does rain have on the crowd/home field advantage in BR?

I'm sure the crowd will be there at kickoff rain or shine. And as long as the game is competitive

If it's a blowout though, some segments do tend to leave early. I would imagine hat would be amplified somewhat if there is heavy rain.

Yeah, the Greek section (where I had reserved seats for 4 out of my 5 undergrad years) at LSU wasn't big on school colors. A white button down shirt was the closest I got to wearing school colors. Too frat to care -- we were more concerned with getting as much booze into the stadium as possible.

I distinctly remember trying on clothes and saying, "I CAN'T WEAR THAT BECAUSE IT'S SCHOOL COLORS." Like... OH THE HORROR.

Now I wear school colors. I don't wear houndstooth though... even though this year, it's actually a national fashion trend so there are LOTS of cute houndstooth dresses. I might break my houndstooth ban.

How many Auburn fans are making the trip this year? Any idea?

Supposedly they sent back a shitload of tickets to LSU.

I hope they bring a good crowd, auburn weekend is always a good time, both in BR and on my trips up there.

It's one of the things that sucks about when a team goes through a bad period. Yeah, it's fun to stomp a team you hate, but it makes the game atmosphere so much less electric and fun. If I were to rank my favorite rivalries that don't include Alabama, the LSU/Auburn game is always at the top of the list.

It's more of a canary yellow, so it should heighten the senses and make for a very good game and hopefully our fans won't fall asleep when we are up 24-0 at halftime

LSU fans are too drunk to pay attention to what color shirt they are wearing.
