Auburn is never even in the game to get a chance to get a call like those

As an unbiased observer - the pitch was a strike. Catcher sets up on outside corner, right handed pitcher throws fastball that's moving back towards the plate. He nailed his spot. Clutch pitch. 95% of the time umps are going to give that call, even if it misses black by an inch or so. I doubt you will hear an Aggie coach or player say a word about that call. They know. They count on their pitchers getting that call, too.
The real question is why did the Aggies trot out a .198 hitter in that situation?

We should have capitalized on our opportunities and not left it in others' hands. There are missed calls all the time and that's just how it is. That being said...he was out at 3rd.

^The moment he caught the ball. He painted the black, thats a pitchers pitch. No matter what its up to the batter to fight off anything close, anything. Laws of batting for the exact reason of possibly getting rung up.

No he wasn't. It was proven many times on replay. Close calls don't always go your way, you have to deal with it and move on. It just happened to be a pretty big missed call at that moment late in the game
I watched the game as an unbiased observer and I thought it was a great game by 2 quality teams that deserve to be national seeds.

Wasn't this the runner that was safe at second base due to a throwing error by the pitcher? Or am I wrong on that? If so, the bam bam play at third never is an issue.

On Zardon's walk-of single, the LSU 3rd base coach stated he saw the ball hit near the 3rd base bag - in fair territory - , and the SECOND bounce of the ball was foul, but it first hit FAIR. The ump called it fair because of that.
The Aggie who took on 3-2 at the end should have been swinging at a ball like that.
The 3rd base play was very close....

Just remember the missed out at 3rd may have led to LSU winning the game, but if it's an out instead, LSU could have still won. So, the call was only related to that player getting into scoring position. We still had to bring him home.

That guy on full count you have to swing at that all I'm sayin

if baseball was like footbal & we had replays - do not think the call @ 3rd would have been overturned

Didn't see the game. Saw the picture above. Dude is out at third. Any of you fricks saying he was safe is lying through your tooth.
I saw somebody say earlier....catcher set up outside and pitcher painted the black. IF the catcher did set up outside...that is a piss poor job by the ump. He is set up wayyyyyyyyyyyyy inside.

False.

No. It wasn't.
Actually it was. After the second pitch in this video you can clearly see the UMP punch the batter out on a called strike 3. Therefore the pitch was indeed.... a strike.
Yall crying about it makes it that much more enjoyable too

Exactly. The team that loses gets pissed and seems to forget all the bad calls that went their way as well. They wouldn't have even been in winning position had it not been for equally bad calls in their favor.
Suck it up and get ready for Game 2.

Well I was at the game and didn't have the luxury of replay...just like the umpire. From where I was sitting (right behind third base) it looked like a bang bang play which tie would go to the runner.
From seeing that picture posted above, yeah he was out. But it's baseball and sometimes on close plays the umps get them wrong.

Nah everybody agreed he was out at 3rd, waay out. Few trolls were messing about but everybody knows he was out at 3rd which makes sense for people to get mad about. For the strike 3, if it was me and the roles were reversed, I couldnt be mad at the umpire for ringing that up. I know for a fact that the a&m coach told him to protect with two strikes. Any time your about to bat and talking to coach he will mention that just about every time.
