New coach for Tulane, Willie Fritz, "Tulane is a sleeping giant." He will build a fence around borders of the State and dominate recruiting.

LSU's salad days of lazy assumptions that all LA players owe it to come to Baton Rouge are apparently over. A new day is dawning and no one will want to face the triple-option Greenies stuffed full of New Orleans public school talent.

But perhaps for LSU, in-state competition will improve the breed... after a new hungry coaching staff takes over in BR.

LSU is putting kids in the league. To a starry-eyed teenager, this is all that matters.

Will Tulane take LSU's spot in the SEC?

Tulanes admission requirements are too strict and they don't allow juco transfers.

Tulane just built a brand new on campus stadium and the attendance is about the same as when they played in the dome.

LSU is putting kids in the league because they have top 5 recruiting classes nearly every year, not because LSU is developing them. Give Tulane the same recruiting classes and Tulane would be putting players into the league as well.

Back in the 50s, Tulane students kidnapped Mike the Tiger, dyed him green, and turned him loose in the French Quarter. Updike was a child playing a man's game.

4 and 5 star players don't usually want to play in C-USA. So, this argument is moot at this point.

Yeah, I guess you're right. Texas Tech or Houston or Baylor or TCU or West Virginia (by god) could never compete with Texas....

If Tulane ever beats Bama. We need to find Harvey before he starts a war we want no part of.

That's fricking hardcore.
