and what's A&M's?

post that, and then use the same logic.

It's been a tough conference schedule, playing Florida instead of Mizzou the last two seasons and you might see our record be identical to the one Miles/Chavis produced.

not at all but I also don't think that translates to anymore than 8 wins. Y'all have this over inflated view of how good your offense is. It's really not all it's cracked up to be. And it's terrible for defensive players on your own team.

Championship teams in recent past have known how to control the clock and let their D rest.

so hypotheticals apply for aTm but LSU is in full decline, even with a higher pre season ranking

got it

ya don't say the point I'm making is that aTm's offense isn't as dominant as you think it is y'all act like mediocre offense+Chavis=Championship which makes me lol

We get a QB who starts hot and then has a complete meltdown and then put in a true freshman for the last five games of the season. Getting an offense ranked 32nd overall in that scenario is a far cry from calling the offense mediocre. If it is, then the clown show you have on offense should really worry you buddy...you know, ranked 75th last year and all.

so excuses apply for aTm, but not LSU

got it

y'all throw 60 yard bombs vs scrub schools. Sorry, LSU doesn't even try to put up 70+ points vs the Lamars of CFB. All the while putting up 20 vs OM, 17 vs LSU and a goose egg vs Alabama. Inflated stats are inflated.

They aren't the ones with a complex. Besides that it's not a good idea to poke a Hog. I'm not talking about your sister either.

Just reading this thread, there is no way anyone not familiar with what happened last season would guess A&M and LSU finished with the same record.

LSU's offensive deficiencies held them back every bit as much as our defensive woes did us. Their QB play was worse than abysmal, as was our defense. Yet somehow it's just a given their offense will step it up despite Les and Cam both returning, while A&M's defense won't improve nearly enough for us to mount more than 8 wins.

Like I said in the OP, stage three in full effect. It's okay, stage four begins soon enough.

Your greatest team ever laid the arguably biggest egg in the history of the BCS national title game, and that is as equally meaningless as your statement when it comes to next season.

And let's not forget that Chavis was the ONLY reason LSU didnt get run in the 2012 game at Kyle. That game could have easily been 28-0 before LSU crossed midfield offensively if not for his unit making key stops in LSU territory and holding us to FG attempts. We outgained LSU something like 250 to 40 over the first 25 minutes or so.
