Chris Landry shared the report on the Landry Football Podcast: “Joe Alleva has taken to going into the office every Sunday and watching film with Ed,” said Landry “And that’s been widely, popularly received by the assistant coaches there…Most athletic directors would never do this because they’re not football people.”

The title reads like a parent making sure their kid does their homework by sitting down with them until it's done

Here's a link to my thread on the TR with a summary of the Podcast. It got anchored and I'm probably close to getting banned again.

Godspeed.

I wonder if Saban or Bryant did it that way.

I've never heard of an Athletic Director helping a football coach review game film. That's embarrassing honestly.

quote:

Landry claims he asked legendary coach and current Wisconsin AD Barry Alvarez if he would ever have that type of meeting with a head coach, and Alvarez said no. It certainly is an interesting tactic, and Landy believes Alleva’s move “shows lack of respect for the head coach.”

Ed Orgeron is the HC in title only.

Joe Alleva is the one pulling the strings behind the curtain.

Yeah we suck, so don't look at beating UF as anything worth a shite.

Maybe Alleva just wants to learn some Xs and Os.

I'd love to do it if I were an AD.

I dont think there is a curtain. It sounds to me like Joe is trying everything he can to save his own job. After working for various dumbasses over the years the one thing I've learned is when a dumbass boss is on the hot seat they often meddle with subordinates in a negative way due to their own dumbassary.
