Or, in the vein of competitive balance, Lsu should only be allowed to sign X number of Div 1 recruits from their own state. I mean, it's about being fair, right?
Basically, the argument boils down to your AD thinks its too hard to win, so he wants an easier path. I'm betting he could get Lsu into the Big12 if he asked.

The point is you functionally already do if you don't play a round robin in a single year.
The SEC crowns a conference champ because there's a championship game but its an imperfect system (better than other options but still imperfect).

I'm not reading this whole bleeding vagina of a thread but I will post my two cents.I wish they would change it to a nine game schedule.im tired of watching Tennessee Chattanooga and western Carolina or the citadel for that matter those type games suck and the extra SEC game would sell more tickets,concessions and the like.

this doesn't make any sense. No SEC schools are under any such limitation. just having another BCS school in your state (or 2 others if you're Florida) doesn't mean nearly as much as you think it does.

That argument is ridiculous. You're better than this.
It's not like other schools are banned from recruiting here. It has nothing to do with competitive fairness. You know. I know it. Anyone with a fully functional brain knows it.
