Y'all lose Murray, Jones, and Rambo just to name a few. When teams stack the box against UGA to stop Gurley, y'all will only see 7 wins.

Murray is gonna be here.

2013 LSU Football Schedule

Aug. 31 TCU in Arlington, Texas
Sept. 7 UAB in Baton Rouge
Sept. 14 Kent State in Baton Rouge
Sept. 21 Auburn in Baton Rouge
Sept. 28 Georgia in Athens, Ga.
Oct. 5 Mississippi State in Starkville, Miss.
Oct. 12 Florida in Baton Rouge
Oct. 19 Ole Miss in Oxford, Miss.
Oct. 26 Furman in Baton Rouge
Nov. 2 Open
Nov. 9 Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Nov. 16 Open
Nov. 23 Texas A&M in Baton Rouge
Nov. 30 Arkansas in Baton Rouge

Lots of cupcakes like Furman, UAB, and Kent State will ensure at least 3 wins. TCU is decent, but should be a 4th win. Auburn will still be down, there's a 5th win.

How does LSU get to ten?

To answer the original question-LSU got to 10 wins this year with roughly = schedule 2012 UW<<2013 TCU. 2012 USC>>>>>2013 UGA.

LSU is returning all but one offensive starter. Potentially gaining two big bodied Juco wide outs. The right side oline will be firmly entrenched with experience. LSU has the potential to have the best o line in the conference considering how much UA and TAMU might lose+ Chris Faulk returning.

On the defensive side if Minter returns we should be as usual there. DBs were green this year because of transfers and the untimely suspension of a heisman finalist and they still played decent. We broke in a bunch of new LBs and for the first time in a long time have a both talent and depth at the LB spot.

D line is the question mark. Logan, Ego and Freak were capable and have starting experience at DT. Dend lose the top 3.

All in all potentially returning 8 of 11 starters on D (assuming Logan-very likely, Simon-who should return and Minter-50/50 IMO) means 18 starters return+much of this years depth.

Injuries suspensions and defections took the top end proven starters away from this team-Chris Faulk, Tyrann, Williford, Tajh Jones, Hurst, Blue. You lose both your OTs starting RG your heisman finalist and number 1 RB before midway through the season and you are nowhere close to the team everyone was ranking high preseason. But it opened up the young guys getting time-Alexander, Turner, Mills, Louis and Kwon.

We should easily get to 10 with a better team and equal schedule.

Losses against UF and Bama. May lose to A&M if both of their OTs and Moore come back.

LSU 2013

is SEAUX fricking stacked!!!

LSU just kicks arse in odd-numbered years. And we start off in Dallas. The winner of the last 2 games of the Cowboys Classic has appeared in the championship game.

I can see losses to any of the three but not all of them together.
UF not sure what all comes back but it took losing minter kwon williford and Lonergran in game+first start at LT for Hurst who quit the next game+1st start ever for Vadal at the other Tackle+HUGE OBJ fumble for UF to win a 1 score game this year in the swamp.

Bama at BDS will be make or break as always is for us, but we have 2 weeks to prepare.

TAMU will be at home+theres no way they get both OTs back+bye week before.

I see 11-1 just not sure where the loss comes.

The same way they went undefeated in the 2011 regular season. And to be more specific...

TCU isn't quite there yet, but rebuilding, doubt they put up much of a fight
UAB, no explanation needed
Kent State, again no explanation
Auburn in BR, no chance
UGA, if you were in the west you'd never even sniff the SEC championship game, we beat you in Athens 24-14
MSU, Still one of the whipping boys in the West, but getting better we win 28-10
Florida, because it's in BR, 20-14
Ole Miss, no chance, 35-20
Furman, no explanation
Bama, it'll be a war, but the visiting team has won in this series more than lost the last few years. It'll be a war once again but i'll give it to the tide just for arguments sake Bama wins 20-17
aTm, Johnny Football is good, but it's in BR, 28-24, if you want to flip it the other way for the sake of the argument again i'll give this one to aTm if you want
Arky, with a new coach that I personally don't think is SEC worthy, no chance, 30-14

Johnny Football's two TDs against LSU this season were 54 minutes apart. Expect the same in '13.

Lulz! LSU fans giving others crap about schedules when they had Towson and Idaho this year and now UAB, Kent State, and Furman.

Who knew that when Bama played Kent State recently that they blew out an emerging powerhouse!

/sure some lsu fans will justify it and prclaim this the hardest schedule ever.

I agree this is a cupcake schedule by SEC standards, but LSU fans are right in saying Bama has no room to talk.

I can hear LSU fans next November: "It's not fair we had to play UGA and Bama on the road"

At least UGA is playing Clemson and Georgia Tech for out of conference games. Not always a good idea, unless you beat them both, then it's genius.

All teams schedule cupcakes. But Bama has played VT, Clemson, Michigan, Penn State, VT again and a home and home with Michigan State. Bama has tried to play good teams out of conference. LSU fans shouldnt be bitching.

It's not bama's OOC schedule LSU fans are bitching about. It's about the fact bama's east opponents go from two of the worst three (UT and Mizzou) to the two absolute worst (UT and UK)from the east. While LSU goes from UF and SC to UF and UGA.

Solid reasoning. Not saying OM wins but lol at your reasoning. LSU doing well there was w/ NUTT at the helm.
Well Ole Miss playing LSU tough in Tiger Stadium isn't solid reasoning either, but I'll be damned if it doesn't happen every two years.

Stacked on defense??? Georgia?? When is the last time y'all actually had a defense? Your 3-4 defense gave up a ton of yards on the ground and air...Please son...
