Richt has given us 6 trips to the SEC CG in 12 years .... any time you are in that game, you are knocking on the door, or "making a run" so to speak. He's only won it twice, and both of those times UGA got screwed out of NC bid, but that's life, you can only control the things you can control, right?
It's a powerful recruiting tool as well, letting kids know that any given season there's a 50/50 shot at "making a run".

I really wanted this topic to be about LSU 2013. I don't mind talking about UGA 2013, but that wasn't the intent of this topic.

Aren't thosse the same guys LSU ran over in atlanta last year? I think bama did the same this season.
If their backups are just as good, where were they against the tide? UGA sure could have put them to good use.

Right, the guys that prevented yall from having a first down in the first half.
The backups were in alot this year, they played alot of 4th quarters, and played well. Also, 4 of the guys we lose to the NFL this year were suspended for the first 4 games, the backups played well.
