Are you fricking kidding? Randall is on another level passing the ball. He also has great pocket presence and is strong enough to take some contact without falling down.

I for sure think he is a huge part of LSU's future if he stays the course in Baton Rouge and doesn't transfer or frick up somehow.

And a lot of people didn't think Rivers should have even sniffed a Major SEC scholarship. Not saying he won't be good, but he is no shoe-in to see any playing time any time soon. He is VERY tall for a QB and wayyyyy too skinny at the moment.

Randall will take 5-10 snaps a game throwing, running and option.

I don't really see Stephen getting any PT unless Mett turns out to be a huge bust. When he first started playing his dad thought he had more potential that Philip did but said he didn't know if it would come out. He is a competitor but nowhere near the level his brother is in that aspect. Good kid and I hope he turns out better than big bro. If he ever starts playing for LSU they will become my #2 team.

Pretty much agree with this. Many people think Stephen has more natural ability than Phillip. The difference is that Phillip was tireless in the film room and practice. If Stephen could develop the work ethic of Phillip he would be all-SEC.

And to those saying he should have never gotten an SEC scholarship, the exact same thing was said of Phillip when he signed. No one wanted him to be a QB. He was pegged as a TE and no one thought he was SEC caliber at QB.

I can't get on youtube at work, but go watch Jerrard Randall highlights from highschool.

He probably has the best arm on our team, including Mett. He is also extremely fast, athletic, and has pocket presence. Basically he is what Miles wanted JJ to be that he never could be.

Mett has more arm strength but if Randall's success in HS translates well to college he seems similar to a mini RG3. He has rare athleticism and accuracy along with nice pocket presence.

Yeah I think Randall has some huge potential. With Krags developing these guys now I think we may see a decent shift in offense for LSU in coming years.

hopefully that should be such a big difference from Crowton. They look like they never got any coaching since stepping on campus.
