Last November.

I almost decided to find new hobby on fall Saturdays.

Losing to Oklahoma St. at home in 2008 when ranked in top 5 stung at the time. Knew after that loss playing for the BCS title was not happening. Losing at Troy in 2004 was another low point. And the Indiana loss.

It was the lowest point in many corn dogs fandom. I mean, LSU was on the verge of college football immortality but had it pimp slapped away by Saban and Alabama. You are in denial if that wasn't your low point as a fan as well.

Curly was awful, but losing 7 games is not much worse than losing 8. By that point you are so detached its painless for most. But go from being considered the greatest college football team possibly ever to not even the best of that season, and at the pimp hand of Saban and daddy Bama, is incredibly painful for most LSU fans. And to act incredulous that it is or even could be, is pathetic.

Other than the obvious ones already mentioned, the stretch post-2012 SECCG and watching Bama beat ND like a red-headed stepchild was pretty rough.

Watching Hal Mumme and QB not named Tim Couch rape LSU 31-5 during Dinardo's final season in 1999.

Absolute lowest point of fandom.

1992 Colorado State 17 LSU 14 brought my boys 9 and 7 years old at the time, had great seats and had picked this game so they could see a win yet watched a typical Curley Hallman game.

December 8, 2006.

The day Rich Rodriguez turned us down. I don't think I had ever been so depressed as a fan as I was that night. Spurrier, Saban, Rodriguez, and seemingly everyone else in the sun had said thanks but no thanks to Mal Moore and our program. I thought we were going to be stuck with a B or C-lister when it was all said and done, thus dooming our program to indefinite mediocrity.

We were the laughing stock of college football that night. That is for sure.

All of these replies from Arky fans about the John L year... They came to JHS and best us. 2012 was ridiculous. We were two years removed from a natty, had some talent, and folded up the moment the opposition got their first first down. Brian Vangorder couldn't get plays in before the ball was snapped, Loeffler was a disaster, and Chiz would just show up in his shacket or leather jacket and mindlessly real off the same crap in post game. We were a zoo off the field, too. Without a doubt the most lifeless and undisciplined team I've ever watched

Its pathetic if an LSU fan doesn't agree with your opinion of what an LSU fan should find to be the lowest part of their fandom?

Without including your personal favorite team, the lowest point of my college football fandom was the national champ game between LSU - ALabama. One of the worst games of all time with zero interest.

The only good thing that came out of that was everyone said "frick this, get a playoff together"

Grew up watching TN roll the SEC throughout the 90's. I get to school during the worst run in history 2006-2010.

I sat in the stand and watched the as we lost our homecoming game to Wyoming. Homecoming. We lost.

I stayed until 0:00 and watched their fans celebrate on the checkerboards.

That is as bad as it gets, until you hire Derek Dooley.

The worst was the 2005 SEC Championship. To go through all that and fall at the end hurt the soul in a way a football game never should.

It was a low point but I said the same about the 2008 SEC Championship. To go through that season and coming back from a horrible decade and only having two more years for Bama to keep the streak of consecutive decades with an SEC championship going and then lose and lose because you do everything right but Tebow just couldnt be stopped. That was a crushing loss
