The Mike Price hire. He never did fill out his coaching staff. That was a huge RED flag. Rock fricking bottom.

2012 and no other season is even close. People think we rushed to judgement & canned Chizik after that season, but I saw things on our sideline that made me believe redid 100% the correct thing in that scenario.

Honorable mention the 2005 Bama game when we fumbled our game winning TD into the end zone. We've had some heartbreaks down there recently

Our time is much worse. At least he got to see us play in ATL for the championship. We had to witness losing to Vandy two years in a row.

The entire 2012 season with Auburn. The entire 2010 season for the Denver Broncos. Auburn went 3-9 and Denver went 4-12.

In 2013, both Denver and Auburn played for championships, and both lost. That was also tough.

2008-2012

I win. 3 losing seasons! Three different coaches!

One shite arse winning season, where we only beat Georgia out of all the tightly contested games.

Rocky fricking block

2008 Sugar Bowl. After laying an egg like that after one of the best Bama seasons in 20 years, I didn't think they'd be back.

1982 season- we were BLOWN OUT by southern miss. Our talent level had dropped so dramatically from 3 years prior. Ironically, we blew out the national champs that season but other than the penn state game it was miserable every week.

2000- started the season number 3 but dubose had lost the team by not making staff changes. I remember someone asking him about Bamas 21 sec titles and now the team was crappy and he said 21 is Not that many and peoples expectations are too high. Bama football had died. 3 days before that miserable iron bowl where we just flat out didn't show up, our players didn't care at all, we found out we were being formally investigated beginning in a couple weeks. That investigation went on 2 years and the sun didn't come back out for 8 years.

, maybe the bowl loss to UCF.

That's what first came to mind with me, too. Yeah I know that was a "good UCF team" and they were pumped and we were flat..blah blah blah. It was still UCF and never should've happen.

There were other games (Colorado for one) but I believe the UCF loss epitomized the flatness that was not infrequent in the second half of the CMR era .

1/9 sucked as the single worst game low point but...

I went out and met a USM cheerleader during the Hallman 2-9 season and she told me they were happy to play LSU this year because they knew they would get a win. I did get my personal revenge later that night.

But a USM fan being able to talk shite was pretty fricking bad.

I had faith by that point. We had one of the best recruiting classes in school history that February.

My lowest point was getting turned down by RichRod and hearing Gene Stallings on Finebaum say something along the lines of "Im not gonna campaign for anything, but Mal's got my number" ... and thinking it actually didn't sound like a bad idea.

The good Lord works in mysterious ways, I tell ya.

1/9/12 was rough, but it was still an incredible season.

The worst was the 2005 SEC Championship. To go through all that and fall at the end hurt the soul in a way a football game never should.

The 2000 season was beyond frustrating considering the talent Bama had on that team.
