In the stands screaming, "it's 5th down, it's fricking 5th down!" And Colorado goes on to win the NC.

Most Auburn fans would say the 2012 season, but for me it was last year against UGA. We were in control for the majority of the game and our defense absolutely shut them down...then Gus pulls our JJ and puts in an injured Sean and call nothing but passing plays as if we were down by two scores. We were WINNING when he did this! It honestly seemed like Gus was intentionally losing the game. I got off the Gus Bus that day and almost didnt renew my season tickets. This year is his last chance in my book

Dooley even managed to screw those up. Majors and them used to wear orange pants, but they were the classic polyester 70/80s pants that probably cost 5 bucks. Of course Dooley had his hand knitted with specials wools and dyes in England or some bullshite and they were expensive as hell. I love orange pants, but he ruined them for me. He didn't deserve to wear them.

Yeah, but Mizzou was a bad team during the 5th down year. Its not like we even had a decent program that year. It would have been more painful for CU if they had lost that game

I find it funny how serious some Tennessee fans are with their coach's choice in clothes on game day. I went to the Arkansas v. Tennessee game with my sister and brother-in-law, both Tennessee grads. After the game we all returned to the tailgating tent we had been at all day and one of the fans could not stop bashing Butch's clothing choice for the game. I think something about it not being orange enough or the wrong shade of gray. Heard a few other mention it as well while leaving the game. Just thought it was odd but funny at the same time.

Ben Simmons last game as a Tiger, and this was more about how the team as a whole played than Ben himself.

I could give less of a shite about what our coach wears. Orange, white, black, grey, visor vs hat vs nothing, whatever, just win games.

Dooley just pissed everyone off because he ruined a unique tradition without earning the right to wear them. And he sucked donkey arse

Lost to 'Bama in Birmingham. Walking back to the RV for somber post game tailgating. It was the 80's, so I was all coked up. I faintly heard the sounds that were reminicent of certain films that get produced in Van Nuys, CA. I glanced between two RV's to get an eye full of cheerleaders. Two half-dressed male 'Bama cheerleaders stood like the sides of the Eiffel Tower over a slender, completely naked, seemingly very satisfied participant who was standing but bent awkwardly between them. A fourth fully-clothed man in a red Bama jumpsuit saw me and whispered in an agitated and threatening voice, "Get the frick out of here, dips hit! He lost the game. He lost the bet!"

That was the low point, but after every loss, I feel sympathetically butthurt.

different perspectives

I agree with him to an extent. It was the greatest LSU regular season we've ever seen and then THAT happened. It was one of the most depressing things I've ever witnessed. As a whole, yeah, Curly Hallman days were brutal.

OP said lowest point, as in one moment, not an entire season so interpret it as you will.

I can't say that this is THE low point, but it has caused a ripple effect that the program has not recovered from even though Lester has been able to pull in highly ranked recruiting classes in most years since.

Instead of evolving, LSU has been mired in one man's attempt to prove everyone wrong with an antiquated strategy culminating in last November's collapse.

The 90s stunk, but not as much as the lost potential of the Miles Era.

For me, it's the 2000 Iron Bowl. It was a miserable game in the freezing rain. We lost 9-0 and were never really in it. It was the end of the depressing Dubose era (after a season that started with such promise). One of the lower points in the deep pre-Saban valley.

After that game I was in a car with my mom, and got hit by drunk guy who fled the scene in front of a cop directing traffic. That day was really just shite all the way around
