2006 bulldogs is probably the worst football team I've ever tried to watch. 2005 was bad but by 2006, I was through. I'm not even sure how we managed to beat bama that year even on Shula's last breath.

For me, it's the 2000 Iron Bowl. It was a miserable game in the freezing rain. We lost 9-0 and were never really in it. It was the end of the depressing Dubose era (after a season that started with such promise). One of the lower points in the deep pre-Saban valley.

I agree - Miserable game, no amount of bourbon could prevent me from freezing my arse off in that sleet and rain.

Definitely the 4-7, especially if it's in the context of rebuilding a team and seeing some progress. There's nothing fun about 1-10 and if they're our one win that means we just beat a slightly more awful Louisville team. I mean there's nothing really fun about 4-7 either but it always beats 1-10.

College football?

2011 A&M Thanksgiving game. And that's all I have to say about that

Overall?

Spurs losing the 2013 NBA Finals. Specifically game 6.

i guess i'm weird (okay i know it) but the petrino/jls stuff didn't bother me nearly as bad as the end of houston dale nutt. yes, i wanted him gone but i DESPISED the way that all went down tho- the foia thing, the banners flown, etc. i can stand hating a coach, i don't like hating the fanbase.

And then, somehow, someway, it did as he followed it up with the "Smile" bit.

4th and 17 vs. Tennessee

Crappy season. Just knew it was not going to get any better for a long long time.

Well I am becoming less interested in sports every day. So I guess you could say every day is my lowest point of fandom.

2003 Clemson/South Carolina in columbia. Final score was 63-17 Clemson.

Strong second goes to last year in its entirety.

I was really young and didn't care enough when we went 1-21. I cheered and rooted for the team, but I was 8-9 years old so I didn't care too long when we lost

Yeah, that whole thing was a pretty close second. It got ugly around here for a couple years before he finally flew off with a parachute of gold.

Geeze, that was pretty disgraceful too.

0-21 sucked, but at one point, everyone was so numb to it that we just didn't care.

2007 sucked a lot too. Started out 6-1, ranked #6, then proceeded to lose 5 straight games.

However, the feeling of watching the program completely fall apart last year probably takes the cake for me.

I dressed for this game. Several coaches and players were celebrating after the UT player made the reception, thinking he had to score, not realizing he had gotten the first down. I just shook my head at them. A play that really exemplifies the Shula era: bad luck combined with poor preparation.
