the beat writer for auburn yesterday said he thought lawson would try to play. I guess we'll see how healthy he is.

A lot of those were on quarterback runs. Louisville also ran an offense Petrinio has never ran before and 5, 6, or 7 defensive players missed the JSU game

Can't wait to hear your excuses on Sunday.
Enjoy the heat.

What excuse? Louisville put a true freshman at quarterback in the 2nd half and ran the zone read offense. The quarterback led their team in rushing yards.

How many running quarterbacks has Petrino had in the past? That would be zero

louisville tore auburn up in the second half. that backup QB ran the read option very well.

We shall see, but I would really question the wisdom of running your qb when you have LF. It seems to me that I would not risk Harris overly in the game unless it was not going well.

That QB ran for around 100 in the second half. A few designed runs, but he was just winging it most of the time and one of the fastest guys on the field. We did a bad job containing him. The majority of Louisville's other run yardage came on speed sweeps to the outside.

If Les decides he wants to Harris to be a running QB and do zone read and lots of sweeps, we might have a problem. If not, we'll probably load the box and make Harris try to win the game with his arm.

I think Guice will be unleashed on Auburn. LSU will have multiple 100 yd rushers.

You may be right, I would just not think it would be Harris. When you have other options that work well, it would seem like a bad risk, I do not think LSU coaches would want to risk returning starter Jennings.

If they would have played that white QB that they're playing now, Louisville would have had negative rushing yards against us. But don't let facts get in your way. Carry on

None of this will help LSU overcome the two TD win by Auburn.

Jeremy Johnson stunk it up last week at home against a division 2 school. Common sense says he should play up to his heisman trophy potential on the road at LSU! Harris is going to surprise a lot of people Saturday.

The fact that Auburn fans are resting their chances on a single defensive player tells me all I need to know. Auburns is seriously fricked.

That's a projection about a "what if" from a previous game, not a fact, Auburn fan.

Logic is, Auburn gonna kick LSU's arse. I don't talk fairy tales here. I just bring truth.

I take it you didn't actually watch the miss st LSU game?

harris looked great despite the low yardage. had a nice deep TD taken away from penalty. he made great decisions all night though. he's got the talent. coaches have to take the training wheels off.

MSUs Secondary gave up 335 yards the week before to Southern Miss. They gave up 71 yards to LSU.
