I like the LSU purple's for an occasional change, but the white's are classic.

We wear them usually on on-conference home games that aren't the home opener.
We also wear them when we are away and the opposing team wants to do a white out.
Miss St has done this before.

I know it is north of South Carolina. If they were in the SEC I may give a shite.
I guess it's good a North Carolina fan worries about what uniform color the LSU team is wearing but I really don't care what they think.

The yellow/gold pants are a nice touch. It also keeps from telling when they piss their pants when Bama takes the field.

The purple jerseys & gold pants are my favorite uniform. I've been a Tiger fan for decades, understand the tradition of the white ones, and usually get hassled for stating my purple preference. It's still my favorite.

LSU always wearing the white tops is part of their tradition now like the Cowboys.
I do like the occasional game or two per year where they wear the purple tops...it's a nice change up. Would be kind of cool if they did it for a big game against Florida or Alabama or someone like that instead of the creampuffs.
