South Carolina was incredibly loud as well...
I think it was loud, nothing great. Not incredibly loud.
1997/2007/Maybe 2009 Florida = Incredibly Loud
2003 UGA = Incredibly Loud
2010/12 Bama = Incredibly Loud
1988/2001 Auburn = Incredibly Loud
Off the top of my head and JMO

You will never convince me that Seattle is louder than the Superdome when the Saints are playing.

Where did you sit?
You know where. Yep, he was looking at endzone bleacers from the side. Barely in the stadium.
I sat directly opposite in the last section on row 9 one time many many many years ago. Was about 10 people from the wall. Must be one of the absolute worst vantage points for a college football anywhere in the nation. Felt sorry for the bastards that were below me. I swear it was 15 yards behind back of end zone and 50 yards to the field.

Loudest league stadiums:
Auburn/LSU very close
Florida
But some of the loudest games I've ever attended were some of the Eggbowls at Memorial Stadium in Jackson. I don't know if it was because of the stadium design but holy shet those were loud. I would love to have just one more eggbowl there with a 50/50 fan split like the 80's

This list should be revisited after the expansions at LSU and TAMU are completed.

Florida is the loudest stadium in the SEC followed closely by LSU and Auburn.
This is exactly right

Ole Miss was pretty loud against A&M this year :)
Man we have had some classics with y'all.
It'll be rockin' at Kyle if it comes down to that next season

Me neither. I have been to over a hundred games in the dome. I has friends go to Seattle and they point blank told me that they pump in noise through the speakers. They said the fake noises were so obvious because it only played when the Saints were on O.

I'd also like to point out that Death Valley will be louder than ever next year in some games for these reason:
1. Adding in South EZ upperdeck which adds 7-9 thousand more fans
2. Lower bowl visitor seats will be given to home fans and visitors will be relocated to upperdeck
3. The new upperdeck addition is directly across from the student section and band which will trap in a ton more sound and create a stronger echo effect.
4. And Bama, Ole Miss, and Arkansas come to town which should all be good games with who they have returning.

We never get any love for being loud but ask any Georgia fan in 2012 if we are loud. We are at a disadvantage though without a closed in stadium.

The Superdome is so much louder than TS these days.

Too many factors can affect/effect (which one is it? I never get it right.)
Effect is the result, affect the application (if that makes sense).

I just thought it was funny how supposedly the Seahawks broke the record by hitting 135.5 dbs, yet yesterday everytime they showed the meter all they could hit was 108.
I said the same damn thing yesterday
In the NFC Championship against your biggest rival and all you can muster is 108??
Child please

Death Valley and the superdome are hard to beat for a premier game. The NFCCG was absolutely insane.
I'd put a couple college teams above Oregon though.

I know the pigz stadium won't make the list. I was very underwhelmed with their crowd. Felt like they belonged in the big 12. To be fair they probably were starting to realize the fat guy they hired wasnt going to cut it.
