Theres no doubt 4th and 25 was the most hurtful loss in my time of being an Ole Miss fan.

the 2014 loss to Auburn hurt me worse. Rebs were coming off the first loss of the season at LSU, yet were still ranked #4 in the playoff poll at 7-1. Watching Treadwell break his ankle at the goal line and fumble while going in for the winning TD with a minute left crushed me. If he scores there is no friggin way we lose at Arkansas the next week. haven't really gotten over that yet

No, we didn't win NC game in 2001, but we did end the season with 6 straight wins to finish 10-3 and #7 in the country.
We destroyed Alabama (550 yds passing), MSU, Auburn, Tennessee in SECCG, and Illinois in the Sugar.
Too bad we were just "average."

The only one that stays with me to this day and really really really really still sticks in my craw is the 1985 Iron Bowl.

Holy shite, damn I forgot this one, I was at this game too. I think the Arky game just sticks out in my mind because it was first game back in Oxford as an alumn, and its more recent.
Watching that Treadwell play in person live I thought initially we scored, and I was cheering. Then the replay came and you kno the rest. They both are about equally shitty in my book.

When JFF got horse collared as bad as anyone has ever got horse collared since the beginning of the horse collar rule I felt as if I had myself been horse collared

2007 NCAA Sweet 16 loss to Memphis after Acie Law (the most clutch player I've ever watched) blow a layup and then we allowed Memphis 1 (2?) offensive boards with seconds left. That team could have gone all the way or at least made the final 4.

You got 'em. Spurrier was notorious for tripping over his dick once per season to a team he should've beaten. The 2013 loss to a dogshit UTK team cost him a chance at a national title.

Auburn's 2002 losses

@Southern Cal
@UF
UGA

USC was just about to become a dynasty under Carroll and we has Daniel Cobb and 4 true freshman WRs. Tied late in the 4th and Anthony Mix drops wide open TD pass to put us up by 7. Carson Palmer leads a drive and they score with under a minute to win. Cadillac Williams was running like a mad man then got cramps at the half and offense went to crap.

UF. Caddy breaks leg and Grossman was throwing laser beams. Ronnie Brown comes in and becomes a star that game. We come back and have the game won. Duval just has to make a straight on 19 yardo field goal and somehow it gets blocked. He misses another game winner in OT then sexy rexy finishes us off.

UGA game was the worst. After all AU had gone through we still could have gone to the SECCG with a win and came out dominating. Ronnie and our starting fullback get injured. Door was left open for UGA and we let Michael Johnson and his 9 career receptions destroy us. 4th and 15 desperation hail Mary that should have easily been knocked down turns into a TD and an SECC for UGA.

It was JABA extreme. End up 9-4 with loses to two top 4 teams and should have at worst been 11-2 or 12-1.

2003 vs Ole Miss -- Obomanu dropped the game winning TD.

Had forgotten about that one. Hit him right in the numbers too. One of the few blemishes on an otherwise stellar college career for Obomanu.

The only thing I remember about this game was that it was sloppy as hell and we were extremely fortunate to win.

The only one on that list that I didn't get too upset was the 2017NC game. I had convinced myself after watching the Washington game that Clemson was going to throttle us. I was very surprised when the 4th qtr showed up and we had the lead. I knew we scored too early on our last possession because the defense was done and they couldn't stop Watson.

That was a freaking slugfest. There were some ferocious licks passed in that game. It took everything out of us that year. We lost to a shitty A&M team on a last minute fumble but we never should have been in that position. We were absolutely worn out after that war with Ole Miss.

I knew at this game that Zook wasn't gonna be at UF for more than a few years.

UF should've blown the doors off of Auburn in this game but let them hang around.

Honestly, it was that LSU game in 2012. That game had so many momentum shifts. Could have easily won that one, but Connor Shaw turned into the interception machine that day and threw two ugly ones that he normally didn't do.

That or the Florida game. Turned it over 37292947392747 times and lost by 33, yet outgained them in yardage.

Both of those costed SC a chance at the national title. We massacared UGA that year.

All the close losses to auburn in the mid 2000s. Then UF in the late 2000s and of course PP7 int against Bama and 21-0. Wisconsin last year got me irate cause I realized Les didn't change shite and Brandon Harris pissed me off talking about how he had the best arm in CFB and still sucked arse

It's hard to believe we've only played three times since then.
