An average lsu team that won the natty. Yes i know we has 2 losses but so did others. We were the only team to have beaten 5 top 15 teams also in the final standings

LSU didn't win the national title in 2001...they won the Sugar Bowl.

I'd add the 2011 Auburn game in there. That was supposed to be our revenge game for the SECCG, end the streak against them, we had a really good team, etc.

Plus that wasn't even that good of an Auburn team, and it essentially kept us out of Atlanta.

No sugarcoating it,,, That was a horrible loss. But Auburn has had our fair share of those. fricking Fred Talley is still running.

Nothing will ever come close to touching the 2013 NC game.

It hurt so bad I can't really remember other disappointing games. Maybe 2009 IB but we would have only been 8-5 with a W, so who cares.

2016 UGA was bad, but so bad it was funny.

Outside of the obvious 2011 BCS national championship game, i reacted most poorly to the losses at Auburn in 2004 and 2006. I think 04 was the "push off" call on the missed extra point. I think 06 was the BS pass interference game.

Theres no doubt 4th and 25 was the most hurtful loss in my time of being an Ole Miss fan. I was at the game. It was the most heartbreaking thing I'd been through since getting dumped by my first gf at the age of 14. Not only did we lose in the worst way imaginable, but it also took the SECCG from us and gave Bama back the West. frick I still hate that fricking game

2001 vs. Auburn and 2001 vs. Tennessee.

That 2001 UF team might've been the best ever Spurrier had at UF and had already destroyed LSU in Baton Rouge that year.

Beat Tennessee and UF likely plays Miami in Pasadena for the title.

2012 SECCG

My daughter had a bunch of friends over for a spend the night birthday party

I had a "man tantrum" and a total melt down

Scared the children - true story

Still not very proud of my behavior that night

Even quit drinking bourbon for a few weeks....

that was a reasonable man tantrum..

2011 Auburn... drunk Garcia's last game. Should have blown that Auburn team off the field, but they are just our kryptonite. Cost us East title.

2012 Florida... after destroying Georgia and losing a close game at LSU by 2 the following week, the team never even showed up to Florida. Fumbled on the first play and it never got better. Florida had like 27 points on 18 yards at one point. Never even gave ourselves a chance.

2013 Tennessee... worst coached game Spurrier had here. All we had to do was get one first down in the fourth quarter to win and just couldn't get it. Gave them a chance for a miracle pass to North in the last minute. Cost us the East.

2002 vs UF - Damon Duval blew 2 chances to repeat his 2001 game winning FG

2002 vs UGA - Had FB Brandon Johnson not gotten injured, we might have turned the 14-3 halftime lead into a blowout.

2003 vs USC - I was at a travel baseball tournament all day and stayed up until 3 am watching a VHS recording of the 23-0 blowout. Absolutely devastating.

2003 vs Ole Miss -- Obomanu dropped the game winning TD.

05 LSU - John Freaking Vaughn's 5 missed FG's wasted Kenny Irons' 218 yards.

07 LSU - The last time we even came close to winning in Baton Rouge

13 vs FSU - If Mason doesn't break all of those tackles on his late TD, we kick the game winner as time expires.
