I have no issues with someone claiming Alabama is the better football program than Auburn. It will probably always be that way.
The difference between A&M/Texas and Auburn/Alabama is that Texas will also always be the better university than A&M. Auburn beats Alabama in every educational metric except for their scumbag law school.

The thing is... plenty folks understand all this and still don't care, especially when it comes to SEC fans yapping about Texas schools. This "we're basically even with UT in my lifetime" is becoming one of my favorite aggy claim. I'd say no one give a shite about your birth and the 76-37-5 record is what it is and you should just own it. But, if you insist on the "since I was born" assertion, as least tell us what year you were born and whether you'd trade football histories with UT since that year.

Nope. What I can do is tell you to go back further to the mid-70s, and each team has 19 wins each. Add in the 12 games missed including this year since 2012, and you have 50 total. Anyone thinking they would be ahead in those 50 games is kidding themselves.
