I don't buy that for a second. YOU might be embarrassed because your sense of reality is warped and you derive your entire identity and self worth from AU's stance & stature in life as it relates to Bama.
However, I am quite certain that the VAST majority of AU people are not like you. They are good folks who have proper perspective and understand that Alabama & Auburn have good and bad fans on both sides. MOST AU people, like MOST Bama people, have friends and family who are fans, alumni, etc of the other school. They don't carry any "embarrassment" for being associated with said friends and family.
