Things can be shady that aren't NCAA violations. Like instructing players to illegally chopblock opposing players who are dominating in an effort to hurt them. Not an NCAA violation, awfully shady.

illegally chopblock
all chopblocks are illegal

and it's still funny that a team that has been called for a chopblock at least once every year for the past half decade still brings this up

As much as I hate Tennessee, I think they have (barely) enough integrity not to touch someone like Briles

Fulmer/Manning; Bruce Pearl; Donnie Tyndall; Butch Jones.

Their history says otherwise.

We are talking two plays over the 1000s that have been run. Every team has had at least those same calls. How many teams do you know that hasn't had a chop block called against them ?

Again, there a posters that can not come up with their own reasons, so they follow the few over the cliff. We saw it with Cam the bammers and with Nick Fairley with the UGA fans. Common denominator , those teams got their arse beat by those players.

UT had a chance to rehire Pearl, the best BB coach in it's history and didn't do it even though 70% or more of the fans wanted him rehired.

Also agree, Briles D1 coaching days are over. If he coaches again it will be at a lower division or NFL.

I agree . He will likely just retire. I can't see anyone in the SEC even thinking about hiring him.
