How on Earth has mighty LSU baseball NOT won a game in Knoxville since Vitello arrived? Is it 0-8 or 0-9 for LSU tiger baseball when playing on Rocky Top the last 4 or 5 years? I forget

Because it’s irrelevant to a championship baseball program. We value games like the 2 game beat down we gave you to knock you out of Omaha last year. You know, games that actually matter.

Your own website says the power allies are 360, not 365.

The website is wrong. Next time you watch a UT game look for yourself and you will clearly see 365 wrote on the wall in the alleys. I get my measurements of LNS from what I have seen with my own while attending games. And yes, it’s a head scratcher why the website says 360 but it’s listed on the wall as 365

This is factually wrong also. So Tennessee hit 6 home runs yesterday that totaled 2,202ft. That averages out to 367 ft with avg exit velo if 103mph. Now we know not every home run is 367ft. We hit homeruns over 400ft and some were over 330ft. But all 6 of those home tuns Tuesday would have been gone out of any field. Also the Vols have only had 1 game this year where they didn’t have homeruns. We have hit the long ball every game!

3 of the 6 barely cleared the wall. One was a line drive that hits the wall most places instead of clearing a 4 ft wall in right field. Believe it or not park adjusted stats are a thing. MLB tracks them. College doesn’t. But if y’all didn’t spend so much time bloviating over stats, no one would care. Yes, Tennessee hits long home runs that would be home runs anywhere. But they also hit plenty that wouldn’t. That shouldn’t offend you. It’s just reality.

Todd Helton hit 38 there and he’s in the HOF. No other SEC player other than Frank Thomas is there.

You are right, regular season games don’t matter. LSU losing all these regular season games this year resulting in them not getting a chance to win a national championship doesn’t matter! Sound logic, man.

It's interesting how Tennessee posters only bring up Vitello's record vs LSU in Knoxville.

I wonder how he's done in Baton Rouge or at neutral sites?

Hold up, I say this...
quote:

fly ball at the warning track in the overwhelming majority of parks is a HR at LNS

And you're response is all of this...

You went on and on about specific HRs and ones that were longer than the warning track of a lot of parks. Nothing you said even addresses what I posted.

And just to address what you did post, 367 feet is a warning track fly ball or a fly ball at the wall at about half of Alex Box.

That literally addresses your statements. You claim warning track pop fly’s then he does the math invalidating your statement.

Of course it's small and dainty, which is exactly why they named it after someone with a woman's first name

No, sir. He did math on specific HRs hit at LNS that were further from the ones I was referencing. My post was about fly balls at other parks at the warning track being HRs at LNS. Again, the Vols hit a LOT of monstrous HRs that would be out if many parks. The fact remains that a fly ball at the warning track at Alex Box is a HR at LNS which is what was being discussed.

Mystery solved. It shows 365 on the fence. The only problem... that is not where a traditional power alley is. That is between RC and CF.

Look at the difference.

Man, when I read this.. The first thing I thought was,, Do you know how tough it is the season after a championship?.Of course you don't. You are a Tennessee fan.

Maybe you have a billboard with your great regular seasons on it?
