It isn’t.

LNS- 365 RC, 320 RF
Also the Vols lead the country in doubles. So infield being smaller, means outfielders are closer together right? Then explain how the Vols lead the country in Doubles?
Also how do you explain Tennessee hitting 12 home runs against Auburn on last road ride since they have the great big wall, and bigger field?
Also can you explain why the other teams don’t have the same luck as UT hitting homeruns at LNS? Is the Vols pitching just that good, or LNS isn’t that small after all? LSU hit I think 2 home runs all series, and that was in game 3.
All you fricks say LNS is the smallest, but non of you have explained why the other team isn’t hitting the same way.

Has it ever occurred to you that batters batting in a batter's box on carpet is very, very much different than hitting on dirt?

Also
LF
UGA- 350
LNS- 320
CF
UGA - 404
LNS- 390
Not sure why you left those out.

Considering they take BP on turf, train in indoor facilities on turf, no. That not a thing. Running bases and timing a slide, fielding a ball and knowing the bounce to time is an advantage, but your post is grasping at best.
Wind blowing in is an equalizer at LNS. And Vols pitching is why other teams are not taking advantage of a slightly smaller park.

Posting factually wrong nonsense does tend to get attention I guess.

What part was "factually wrong?"

Significantly smaller is verifiably incorrect.

I realize Tennessee fans are new to baseball but a fence being 10 feet closer is significant in baseball.

This is such a flawed logic. Who gives a shite about your doubles or your road home runs. It’s doesn’t change the fact your fences are the distance they are.
Your own website says the power allies are 360, not 365. Even if right field at Foley is similar, left field is not. It’s 350 down the left field line, 370 in LCF, and 404 in CF. Foley is significantly bigger.

Very much so. A fly ball at the warning track in the overwhelming majority of parks is a HR at LNS. Vols have a very good team and hit some monstrous home runs. But, the fact is, their field is significantly smaller than most.

It's baffling that they even try to pretend this isn't true.
Are Vols that delusional?

You (and others) are inferring an issue with a slightly shorter field and demonstrated that the difference in results is negligible at best. Thus invalidating any issue with the slightly shorter field.
So in short, you give a shite. On the bright side you and your flawed concern don’t matter.
Posted on 4/17/24 at 7:11 pm to SidewalkTiger
And why does the right field wall need to be 4 foot tall?
Posted on 4/17/24 at 7:13 pm to Smokeyone
A line drive into the gap or down the line is going to be a double even if the fences were another 10 feet in.

I don't think anyone thinks it's an "issue."
It's frankly hilarious that Tennessee fans are arguing that they don't have the smallest outfield in the conference when they clearly do.

It’s only an issue when you get to Omaha and a portion of those homers turn into cans of corn.
Your record in Omaha backs this up.

Wake Forest is also small like Tennessee. Same issue last year in Omaha.

I do believe Tennessee has more national titles than you in football and SEC championships. Am I right, or am I right?
