Nah. Emmert won't be around forever and Sabans wins at Bama will go out the door with him.
If OM is smart they will push Bama sliding by for everything in the book and getting nothing as reason they shouldn't either. Sling some crap back at the NCAA and then sue their butts if they try anything. The NCAA is on its last legs anyways.
What part of always did you not catch? Always. In fact, Bryant had a quote about it.
It was going on long before Bryant. The REC is not answerable to anyone currently at UA. They wield unimaginable strength within the SEC, belee 'dat.

Tt's actually pretty bad. I'm not expecting it, but the NCAA could bring down the hammer if it had the nuts to do so.

Almost as shocking as Bama's track record of getting off. Seems like every single year something pops up at Bama that they somehow wiggle out of. Guess it helps when your HC's BFF is president of the NCAA.
You must be a youngun if you think we've always got off. I'll be you were born in.....95? Nah, more like 98?

This is about the most uniformed, false statement as these eyes have ever read.
The BOT answers to no one. Not even the Prez. The REC doesn't even get to decide when they have their drinking parties on Campus. The BOT decides everything.
Here's the people that decide everything.
Robert J. Bentley
Thomas R. Bice
Karen P. Brooks
John H. England, Jr.
Joseph C. Espy III
Ronald W. Gray
Barbara Humphrey
John D. Johns
Vanessa Leonard
W. Davis Malone III
Harris V. Morrissette
Scott Phelps
Finis E. St. John IV
William Britt Sexton
Marietta M. Urquhart
Kenneth L. Vandervoort, M.D.
James W. Wilson III

Even Paul Finebaum said the other day that he is hearing through back channels of people that follow this stuff that NS is not being sniffed around by anyone regarding violating NCAA rules.
Nick Saban has a legacy to protect. He isn't going to allow stuff to go on that would endanger his program and legacy.
Hugh Freeze is a whole different story. I have heard from a very reliable source about some of the OM stuff and it is seriously dirty.
OM fans should be very worried. Check out the recent hammering of SMU basketball.

Those are examples of level 1 violations. Doesn't mean they're getting tagged the buffet you've listed.

i'd assume that if they self imposed a ban from this year's ncaa tournament it falls under level 1

Lack of Institutional Control
A lack of institutional control is found when the Committee on Infractions determines that major violations occurred and the institution failed to display:
Adequate compliance measures. (Did not)
Appropriate education on those compliance measures. (did not)
Sufficient monitoring to ensure the compliance measures are followed. (did not)
Swift action upon learning of a violation. (not in most cases, but in some)

So how do you treat your daughters friends she meets at Ole Miss? Are you nice to them or do you go all conspiracy on them?

How could OM display adequate compliance measures to control a guy that had someone doctoring the ACT scores for athletes at a high school?
I mean the university takes the score provided by ACT, the university has no way of knowing the score was doctored on the front end do they?
And what kind of education can a university provide to ensure that ACT isn't sending them falsified scores?
IMHO, ACT should bear a large part of the burden here. Although I don't know how it could be enforced? But ACT had someone administering the test and adjusting the answers to obtain a desired test score.

We are ALL missing the point.
This about watching Ole Miss sweat it out. . .
This thread right here...
It is why we cannot have nice things.
Put the IB down for a minute and just enjoy it is not about either of our schools.

Don't you think the OM Coach told them where to go take the ACT test?

Id also like to know the details of parents getting moved to Tttown, and I'd like specific names of the players the received cars
Trent Richardson, for one, mom was "given" a transfer to a Popeye's there as an Asst. Mgr then was provided below market rent in a booster's home in a neighborhood that was not prone to rentals...also Richardson somehow got a nice SUV( Escalade?) while still an undergrad.
What about the kid from Pensacola who was "encouraged" to move to Foley, AL because the curriculum was easier?
Please don't act like Alabama and Saban is as pure as the wind driven snow, hell, I'm an LSU fan and I know how much they pay for some of their recruits like Fournette.
