I think Bama is a terrible matchup for Michigan. Especially when Saban has a month to prepare for them.

know Michigan has no shot, so I am hoping he punches Saban in the face at the handshake.

Michigan is on par with every team in the Big 10 this year. None of them have offenses and all of their defensive stats look good because of it.

Michigan typically comes out and try to pass with McCarthy, once they see he can't, they immediately go run-heavy. It works when you have a far superior o-line to everybody in your conference but I HIGHLY doubt they will line up against Bama and just run Corum.

Milroe will be the difference maker. He'll be able to make plays and McCarthy won't McCarthy throws short passes like Bo Nix. Blake Corum is EVERYTHING to their offense!

the other thing is our experiment game against south Florida, because they were one of the worst offenses and defenses we played and the scoring wasn't there due to trying out the backups

That's exactly what that was. It was a scrimmage.

I think the matchups favor Bama but what worries me is the external stuff. Michigan feels like it's them against the world and Harbaugh is going to put everything he has into this game. Bama's going to hear for a month that they don't belong and while that can certainly be motivating I also wonder if it won't cause them to come out tight because they're trying so hard to "prove" everyone wrong.

Bama absolutely pulled the easiest opponent for the first game

There’s a reason they collectively shite themselves when Alabama got announced as their round 1 opponent.

They’re certainly nowhere near as good as Auburn (was very impressed with Bama in that game, a valiant victory in a hard fought battle between two titans) but it still won’t be a cakewalk.

The only thing that throws a bit of a wrinkle is that Bama played an FCS opponent (Chattanooga) where Michigan did not.

And they will let you know about it every time you speak to one of their fans

Yes, they love to talk about SEC teams playing late season cupcakes. While ignoring that SEC teams have a higher SOS than they do.

I am not worried about Michigan, Texas or Washington. I am however worried about Bama. It's been that kind of season. But fun, real fun.

You're not worried about a team that beat you in Tuscaloosa that improved just as much as y'all have going into the post-season?

Michigan and Washington aren’t half the team that mighty Auburn is. You guys will be fine. Texas will destroy you though. Again.

And who had Texas played since beating Alabama?

Michigan may have a good defense, but their offense... Whoof. Just drop the run game and it may get ugly. Oddly enough, the run game is where bama has struggled to stop b

Yeah, I dont see Bama losing to Michigan.

Bama will have to stop the run.

Michigan does have a senior laden team with a good defense and running game.

Be careful what you wish for, TexASS fans...go take care of little Peenix, then worry about Michigan.

As for these elephant fans, it's great they think they have some kind of glorified "bye week" in the semi's...hell, Nick Satan is probably already prepping for Round 2, seeing how inferior of an opponent he has! After watching them completely dismantle the Auburn War Chickens, bama fans are on cloud 9 in their trailer parks right now!

Big 10 defenses are constantly overrated due to how bad the offenses are in that conference.

How many good offenses has Bama played? 2?

Michigan has an old school Saban team. I think he'll find it a bit more difficult then in the past.

Saban doesn't often have the team with the worse o and d line. Will be interesting to see.

He's obviously the better coach though look at the Georgia game
