im not gonna pretend to have watched more a&m basketball than you ( i have watched them though). but im also not biased towards a&m either.

eta: i agree with 2 losses at most in nonconference, but your nonconference slate is really poor so thats not going to be of any help at all come selection time.

etaa: I just looked your rpi up and while its way too early to take rpi seriously i was actually surprised how high yall are at the moment.

Based on the makeup of the team, we are much better than I initially thought.

To put it in perspective, this is the best guardplay and depth that A&M has ever had.

This includes the team that had Acie Law and Antoine Wright on the court at the same time.

The last time we were this deep in the frontcourt, we had Joseph Jones, Bryan Davis, and DeAndre Jordan on the team...and Turgeon didn't use Jordan worth a shite.

That St. Louis game was probably the worst game I've seen in a LONG time. Since the following game, when Elston Turner hit the NBA 3 to win at the buzzer, he's been tearing it up, averaging just over 20 ppg.

You're not winning at Vandy or Arky.

I've got 4 conference losses for y'all before you get 5 conference wins.

We don't have the taco thief to keep us out of the Final Four this season.

Vandy has been bad so far (except for last night..how did that happen?) so i wouldnt call that a definite loss.

I agree with you bundy... I think LSU is NIT bound, but I am still not sure how good this team can be. They do specific things as good as anyone in basketball...

Lead NCAA in steals/game
2nd in Nation in Offensive rebound %

Put that along with the fact that LSU has a few guys really shooting the ball well and they can be dangerous against anyone.

While I do think it's a longshot, if the team gels together they still have a shot at being a bubble team.

Im not sold on Tennessee and I am not very high on aTm. Only time will tell though.

We can't lose to Arkansas. It's not possible as long as Melvin Watkins is on that coaching staff. Surely, as a Missouri fan you understand this better than most.

It's one thing to lose 3-4 games in a row involving one team. It's an entirely different thing to lose 27 straight.

It will be broken this year at BWA.

In other news, who has more issues on the road, Mike Anderson or Junior?

Junior has more DWIs than Senior has road wins in the SEC.

In 2010, Missouri was riding a 33-game home winning streak and Melvin Watkins had lost 24 straight conference games involving Texas A&M.

The 33-game home win streak fell.

This curse is much larger than either of our THREE programs and has endured across four different coaching staffs, 2 different conferences, and almost 10 years.

The only way Arkansas wins is if they keep Watkins at least 50 miles away from the building.
