Richardson's a bust, but he's nowhere close to the legendary bust status of Russell.

Until last season when he became a buffalo, Lacy was a great pick. He's going to be great again.

Ingram is only considered a bust by saints fans because he went to Bama, and we gave up 2 picks for him. He was a bright spot to a bad season last year.

Great debates are never settled; just appended.

I vote AU24 as the biggest bust in Rant history

To be a bust there has to be some high level of expectation first

Trent Richardson is not a bust. You idiots will peddle anything to make yourself feel better about losing to Bama

You're a Bama dick-riding idiot if you believe all of that.

With that said, JR is the biggest of all time.

Jamarcus was the first overall pick but two different teams used two different first round picks for Richardson. They are both huge bust but Russel probably still has the edge because he was before the rookie salary cap and cost the Raiders a lot of money to be as bad as he was.

How do you make that call on a guy who's still playing? Do you know how well he's going to do in Baltimore?

Hard to not go with Russell due to the money involved. However, lets not forget this fellow when it comes to all time SEC Busts:

Richardson may still have some value and has been paid far less that Russell.

Please explain how Richardson is not a bust?

To OP, Jamarcus is probably the biggest bust in SEC history

Aundray Bruce is the answer. Number 1 overall pick for the Falcons.

The Auburn player started 42 games in his 11 year career. He was once regarded as possibly the next Lawrence Taylor but turned out to be a giant dud.

How is he not a bust?

He was drafted #3 overall, and has never averaged more than 3.6 ypc (his rookie year). He's awful, and didn't even play last season, his 5th year out of college

But he's still in the NFL, and still making money. When he's not playing for the NFL anymore, than you can say whether or not he's a bust.
