and that is true for every team, Mizzou lost DGB last year and he was the #1 WR in the country when he was recruited. Still won the division.

UGA fans love making excuses for Richt.

You didn't win the division. We lost the division.

Old man Richt owns Mizzou in football.

Did you really just cherry pick a bunch of Eastern Division teams that UGA never plays?

I could do the same thing. When's the last time UGA's lost to Ole Miss, Texas A&M or Arkansas?

Alabama is clearly a much better program than us, or anyone else in the nation as well. Using that comparison is just ridiculous. I understand your offense is worse than any team I've ever seen in my life right now, but I don't know why you're so upset about the state of the UGA program right now.

Missouri which won the east for the last two years. Richt has no excuse for that.

You can't be serious if you are including 2013 as a no excuse year.

You act like you are losing to LSU every season and that's why you can't compete. When you do play them it's not even competitive

Define "competitive" and then look at our games vs LSU in this time period.

But I guess for UGA these days that's a good enough.

are you really saying we should have fired Richt for going 10-3 last year?

You lost one player, we lost like half of the so called "Dream Team". 6 of them dismissed including one that helped lead Auburn to one of their best years of football. Several others stayed hurt almost their entire college career, and others left because they just weren't as good as their rankings intimated.

I just want to know how bad he has to think Mizzou's program brand is if he believes they should never win a division title.

that was one player, now add your top two de's, top dt, and top lb to it for a similar situation.

The last time we played them. They came in ranked #1, defending champs, on a 19 game winning streak. It really wasn't even all that close.

But it is a bit laughable at all the Richt defenders. I guarantee you Spurrier would have won championships with the players Georgia has had in the last 8 years or so. I have no idea in the world, with all the resources and recruits available to Georgia, how they aren't a top 5 team every year.

You do realize that our recruiting rankings and final poll rankings have tracked pretty closely over that time span right. We have typically been ranking in the final polls around where you would expect based on our recruiting rankings.

UF
FSU
Texas
OU
Notre Dame
Bama
SC
Ohio State
Michigan

All of those schools have equal or better resources/access to recruits. So which teams shoudl we share the top 5 with every year?

He can only downvote instead of actually coming back with a valid response.

I know, which made his comment even more comical to me. It's completely ridiculous that everyone expects us to be top 5 every year when we're considered to be in the 8-13 range as far as elite programs go.

That should be the question. If you had the right coach instead of Richt, it would be. You guys talking like you can't be expected to do better because other teams might finish a spot or two higher in recruiting. I doubt we finished ahead of you a single year in recruiting, and we're 5-5 last ten games against you? Hello? It's the coach! Personally, I hope you give Richt a lifetime contract.

I must have missed where UGA consistently finishes inside the top 10.

Actually fairly consistently in Richt's tenure.

Finished #3 in AP and Coaches Poll in '02.

Finished #6 in AP and #7 in CP in '03 and '04.

Finished #10 in both in '05.

Finished #3 in AP and #2 in CP in '07.

Finished #10 in AP in '08.

Finished #5 in AP and #4 in CP in '12.

Finished # 9 in both last year.

How about Mizzou?

Well as I mentioned earlier, you missed it, because you don't know a lot about football.
