I think you missed the point of the thread.

If 16th out of 125 is mediocre, by your definition, Bama is on the high side of mediocre at 7th. I guess this is some kind of Alabama math we're doing.

Ok I will. It's mediocre.
Be careful, by your standard, tied for 7th is good, but not elite.

You mean like Leonard Fournette ?
Leonard is from a city that LSU consistently recruits from that is less than 1.5 hours away.
Not to mention LSU has a good team, including quarterback and a group of WRs that consist of at least 3 who will make it to the NFL. (Dural, Malachi, and Johnson).
We may be lucky to have Fournette, but it was never a question where he was going.

How many weeks in top 5 since 21-0?
I don't cherry pick stats for my liking, so idk. This is directly from twitter, in case you somehow managed to not read the OP.

Dude, stop living in the past. This is the future. Ole Miss has beaten you 2 years in a row(shameful) and LSU has a great shot at beating you tgis year, and a better recruiting class coming. Times are changing, kiddo.
Little Nicky is the 'best' coach when he has more talent than anyone else. Let's see what happens when he doesn't put together 5 straight #1 recruiting classes. As a matter of fact, its shameful he's lost a game with so much talent.
You guys have gotten so used to winning, you can't cope with losing:tree murder, family killings, grown men weeping in Bryant Denny(best Gif's out there). Every time you guys post this 21-0 thing, it reeks of fear of the future. It'll all be OK, big fella. Hang in there.

I would like to hear this explanation? Is this Gump reasoning? Kind of like when they say Harvey Updyke isn't really one of us?

Cas ends up trolling his own fanbase.

Are you bragging about a recruiting class in October?

No, I got the point of the thread. It just wasn't the part that was interesting to me.

Uh, yea. LSU has numerous commits for next year that have been committed for quite some time. 2016 is already an elite class.

Fair enough. We'll wait for the results.

Meh.
Dietzel did it with Moore's players.

Can they de commit? Of course. But when 3 of the guys are actively recruiting for LSU, and open about it on social media, I like our odds.

Don't forget Gerald Dinardo. Saban won with Dinardo's players at LSU and left by the time it was 'his' team.

Correct. My bad. Top 5 in every game though.

I don't think we were in the top 5 every week last year...think we dropped to 7 or 8 after the loss to Ole Miss for a couple of weeks or so
Correct again, but we played in 14 games last year and were in top 5 for all games except one

I thought Saban won the BCS championship in his 4th year at LSU...so I'd think most of that team was 'his'...I know he recruited most of the top players on that team (Mauck, Vincent, Clayton, Spears, Webster, and Landry)...
