Parts of it. They admitted to the booster contact, but they are contesting most of it.

No troll, honest question.

I read the response as well, but didn't the language sound a little fishy? Did it seem to you to be lip service for the fans more than a real effort to contest the allegation?

Maybe I'm jaded

I would have fired Freeze and Nutt a year ago as it always smelled fishy to me too. I'm also embarrassed by the administration's ineptitude and loser mentality that kept us holding on for dear life to Freeze. The fact that Bjork is still there is staggering to me. I'd rather take our medicine in one dose and start over from the bottom vs pillow fighting with the NCAA for 5 more years, only extending the stain on the university.

Exactly what job could OM have fired Nutt from one year ago? Just curious

yes, he should have been gone a long time before he was. I expect a lot of heads to roll when it is all said and done.
I expect Freeze and Farrar to get lengthy show causes
Freeze will end up as one of the worst coaches in Ole Miss history.

My whole thing about Leo is if he told the truth or not, we still have plenty more infractions to deal with. So no matter if his is thrown out, it's not going to be that much easier. I think alot of people are getting over concerned with him. This is not going to be fun or easy. But at the end of everything, I will still be supporting the "team/players".

Well said. Especially on the Leo comments. The kid could have lied, he could have told the truth. This whole investigation has a whole lot more to it, other than one rival football player, and Ole Miss fans have put way too much weight on Leo.

Ho Lee Chit! They finally hit the 5th stage! Acceptance!!

Congrats!

As to whether or not he lied, I think the most likely answer is that he tried to answer truthfully. It's one of those situations where he really had nothing to gain from lying, and everything to lose, so I'm not sure why some think he did.

So you really believe that Leo got the $11K from an Ole Miss Booster prior to signing?

Believe would be too strong a word for me, I THINK cash likely changed hands though, too much smoke and confirmed details for nothing to have happened.

I don't see any way Bjork survives. I have thought all along that we were going to fire Freeze for cause once the COI decision comes down, he got himself fired instead . I feel the same way about Bjork

With out a doubt he did. Maybe the sum is different which doesn't matter. He did not just say he got it and the NCAA took his word. They have evidence that his word corroborates. Mounds of evidence. The "Leo lied!" And made it up is only thrown out there by OM sources. I doubt they even refute it during the hearing. But after the hearing, the OM media will be told how they screamed and made Leo cry! How they brought video of Leo saying he lied! But the NCAA just turned a blind eye to the overwhelming evidence and was dead set on taking down OM cuz Freeze flaunted Christianity and because they beat Bama twice!

I'll take the medicine that is handed out. Look we fricked up, got caught, deserve it. I still love football and Ole Miss, always will.

In the mean time my parents are in Alaska so I boarded up the house (70 yards from the ocean) and left to the west coast of FL... Now it looks like I'm in more danger.

I'm in a apartment with no protection. No matter the outcome of the COI I'd like to live to see it. It's been fun y'all.

Sorant is a fricking genius. He has Vecchio and Cave man eating out of his hand on this thread.

Why did Lying Leo lie to the NCAA about the $10,000+ he received from The Moo?

I've been wondering how long it would take Ole Miss fans to want Bjork fired. In my opinion, the administration let you down as much as coaches and boosters. I have heard so much about boosters inside the complex with current players etc. I don't understand how that happens without the administration knowing. I think it needs a total house cleaning.
I have predicted before on here that seeing the University trying to protect the names of all these boosters was a very bad sign and that unless a total house cleaning occurs ,the ncaa will be back before probation is up.
