If you rotate yearly then its gonna be pretty even unless some team just suddenly falls off completely and then just bounces back completely. Not very likely

I would easily trade schedules. I hate our boring arse schedule this year. Alabama needs to be playing 2 or possibly even 3 BCS level non conference opponents every year while we are in dynasty mode. USC did it while they were on that great run. Hell, even USCe is playing two BCS OOC games this year. If they can do it, we can do it.

I dont wanna trade. I just don't see how some people argue that there is not a big difference. At least you see it and want to change it. Most of these idiots are just punk trolls though

I said the same thing as soon as they released our '13 conference schedule.

Thank you. Les Miles and the LSU AD have both publicly stated they do not want to play Florida every year.

Not because we are afraid of them. That matchup has been very even over the last decade. It would just be nice to have a chance to play other teams from the east

Monticello and other bama fans, why are you upset LSUs coach is trying to create a more equal playing field for his team. What is the difference from Saban and bama fans complaining about the byes in 2010? It is a coaches job to try and help his team

Why the hell should "YOOOOUUUUUU" care ????
You things get Tennessee, Kentucky, Vandy, or Mizzou every fricking year.
And the following is downright shamefully embarrassing:
Bama's longest 2013 consecutive SEC games stretch without a bye:
Oct. 12 at Kentucky - unranked
Oct. 19 Arkansas - unranked
Oct. 26 Tennessee - unranked
LSU's longest 2013 consecutive SEC games stretch without a bye (3 on the ROAD):
Sep. 21 Auburn
Sep. 28 at Georgia - Top 10
Oct. 5 at Mississippi St. Top 25
Oct. 12 Florida - Top 10
Oct. 19 at Ole Miss - Top 20
You things should be ashamed.......

“I will try to make the case ... I will make the case for LSU.
I think we at least have a shot.” Mike Martin, LSU chancellor Mike Martin may have announced Friday that he is leaving for Colorado State later this year, but he still has big-ticket items on his agenda as LSU’s chancellor.
One of them is trying to argue LSU’s position in the Southeastern Conference’s soon-to-be announced new 14-team football scheduling format.
While LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva said Saturday that he believes the SEC will stick with permanent opponents from opposite divisions — something LSU has staunchly opposed — Martin said he will make one more attempt to sway his fellow SEC presidents and chancellors this week at the annual Spring Meeting in Destin, Fla. “I will try to make the case” for abandoning permanent opponents, Martin said Saturday. “I will make the case for LSU.
I think we at least have a shot.” Martin said he has an ally for eliminating permanent opponents in South Carolina President Harris Pastides. But it is a small band of resistance.
Alleva said 11 of the 14 SEC schools are in favor of retaining permanent opponents — including Florida, the Tigers’ permanent SEC East opponent. LSU has maintained in the past that Florida also wanted to eliminate their annual game. “I don’t think it’s fair,” Alleva said. “I think people have voted in the best interests of their schools and not the league.”

mmmmkay... I dont believe hearsay from the other side. Every program always blames the other about games being dropped

This is my favorite game every year. Why would I whine about this?

playing Alabama has to be tough. Wonder what that's like?
Why don't you ask the string of cupcakes you play?
I'd say ask the tough opponents, but there aren't very many are there?
What are you afraid of?

UThug getting much better will solve some of the problems.

Ya I will be embarrassed because of how a schedule system worked out. That is perfectly logical.
The system needs to be fixed, but I guess we are back to the "home office in birmingham gives bama all the advantages" thing. Ftr Saban himself has argued for a 9 game schedule. If he has so much pull why hasn't it happened?

every fricking, you guys are fricking hilarious. I guess football now started in 12', which makes sense with the 21-0 and all
