I have admitted there are years LSU will get the advantage. That doesnt change the fact we should strive for a better system.

Wait, so some years some teams have hard schedules and other years they don't? this is crazy talk its almost like it rotates between teams. I thought it was every year bama played easy teams and every year LSU played the hardest teams. That's what I read here, so must be fact

I feel like i am arguing with a child. So i will make it simple. Should we or should we not strive for a system in which it minimizes the schedule parity from year to year?

Schedule didn't come into play last year. LSU had a chance to win the west at home on a Saturday night and Les and company shite the bed.

you mean like rotating over a cycle like we have been doing? or do you mean comparing LSU's schedule to BAma's every year?

You idiots cant possibly believe that a team that plays a harder schedule is not gonna be more worn down than a team that plays a cake schedule. I though Bamas excuse for losing to A&M was having to play us the week before? Guess that argument only fits when you need it to!

This is going to sound strange, but what if there was a system where we played 1 perm from the other division, 2 rotating, and didn't play 1 team from your own division every year. Two teams from your division are exempt and you play them every year to keep division rivalries. The other 4 rotate so you miss one every 4 years.

This way rivalries are preserved, even the OOC rivalries and quality OOC games which could be in trouble if were were going to go to 9 games.

SO for bama we would play Tennessee from the east, and rotate 2 other east teams. Play LSU and Auburn every year. And miss one of MSU, Ole Miss, A&M, and Arkansas every year.

It would be tough to figure out at first, but it could work.

I havent once made this about LSU or Bama. Not once. Only you have. However, if you honestly think the 6-1-1 is the best the SEC can do in terms of scheduling parity, i cant help you

Why is LSU/Les scared to play nine conference games?

Interesting thought, but the not playing a team in your division will be problematic. I think the best way is to keep it as it is, but only count division records in terms of determining SECCG participants

@MattSmithCFB: Les: "If Auburn has to play Georgia every year, put them in the East. This is not that hard, guys."

Does Les realize that Bama and Auburn will probably want to keep playing every year too?

Arguing with some of these fans are like trying to argue with a kid on Xbox live! There are a few that admit the problem but there are a bunch with dumb arguments
