3.76 yards per carry

I remember when Jeremy Hill put up similar mediocre YPC numbers vs Bama and y'all thought he gashed us.

LF is the most talented back in the country, but he is just a Freshman. He'll be a Heisman contender one day.

LF will be a 3 year back at LSU and will be drafted high (No idea where. Depends on who needs a dependable back.) But this kid is already good. Whether he gains the accolades or is in the Heisman discussion depends on how Les uses him and whether LSU can develop their QB into a viable threat to loosen up defenses.

I wish he was Rolling with the Tide.

The key fact many are missing on here is that Georgia has a passing game. LSU's passing game consists of a "pass" backwards to the running back to only run it off tackle.

Didn't Bama pump up Coker before the season?

LF has the potential to be great....it's all up to him.

Umm, the almighty UGA passing game is almost always under 200 yards/gm.

However, it does appear that UGA actually teaches its RBs to avoid contact where they can in order to hit full speed, whereas LSU's offense is all about running its RBs straight up the middle every single time.

True. He needs a passing game to back safeties out of the box. LF will be the best back in the sec next year.

21 carries for 79 yards?

What you all are missing is that he is doing this with virtually no passing game to support it... put him in Jeremy Hill's shoes last year with Mett, Beckham, and Landry and what do you think you would have?

Can't fault Chubb for that one. Apart from the fumble, he did his part.

Still had over 150 yards rushing and 219 total offense. Didn't say he was a better defender.

LSU didn't have much success on the ground last season with those weapons.

Honestly the kid was better than the stats showed. Bama has a beastly run defense. Should of ran him in ot.

I agree completely, I kept wondering why he didn't have 25+ carries.

When he wasn't out there to start OT I thought Foster's hit shook him up.
