Played only 7 games this year.
was injured with high ankle sprain all year
? for you Auburn fan, why did Bo Jackson not have a great NFL career. Answer he had a serious injury and a loss for all of football fans. It would have been nice to see Bo perhaps the best athlete in our modern time really get to play. We all realize this never happened but he was going to be the GOAT as you say.
Leonard Fournette had a serious high ankle spain that never really healed this year but the bottom line his college career was cut short and he will heal up and head to the pro ranks.
What kind of fans would be happy to post negative comments about athletes not achieving because of a injury
I was sad when I saw Chubb injured last year and glad the guy made it back this season and hope he regains his form. Chubb would have been a all time back in the SEC if he stayed 4 years and was injury free. I guess some people are preoccupied with their team and don't see the big picture of enjoying the sport as a whole

How come all of Auburn and Bama's RBs flop in the NFL?
First, your statement is erroneous.
Second, why do LSIxU posters always take the NFL angle when trying to argue about the skill, or lack thereof, of their players? I want Bama's plays to excel and win championships at Bama. I don't give two shits about whether they propose to a FG practice net on the sidelines in the pros or not.

Leonard played a year and a half and still broke a lot of records

What current Bama RB would you consider to be doing well in the NFL?

I agree. Fournette seems like a good guy and I'm happy for him he got to play for LSU since I'm sure that was a dream of his growing up.
I wish him success in the NFL and he has a lot of potential.
But I wouldn't take a running back top 15. Sometimes you get lucky with someone like Ezekiel Elliot, but even he is mostly a product of that incredible Dallas O line. For the most part, a RB's success is hugely on the O line.

Statistically, he never ended up being the statistical GOAT. But we consider him to be at least average because he had the speed, elusiveness, and strength to do stuff like this:
And this:
And this:
And this:
I would show you more, but your trailer park WiFi router would short circuit and burst into flames because there are so many gifs of Fournette making defenders look silly.
He also played 90% of his career under the moronic and senseless coach that looked like this:
And he did something spectacular in every game except for when he met this:
And hurt this:

Stay padding against lower tier teams isn't something one should brag about.
Henry vs ranked opponents beat LF in every metric.
Henry - 5.19 ypc, 2+ TD per game, 149.86 ypg
LF - 4.64 ypc, 1 TD per game, 117.25 ypg
Fournette gets a big boost to his stats by having over 200 ypg vs non-conference foes. Not awe inspiring at all.

Yall are some petty fricking little people
Only a goddamn little man or woman would be celebrating something as this, a player being injured and hurting his performance
I for one like to see good players, I hated Cam Newton but damn if I would've every wanted to see him hurt.
The whole lot of folks from every corner of alabama are godforsaken losers

Ware and Hill both have more yardage than Ingram
shite Alfred Blue may have more than Fat Eddie.

It's fricking hilarious how much this board hates Fournette

I'm ok w em hating him
The gloating over his injury fits their history perfectly though, the fact that there are literally zero rational fans of the same teams to point out their bullshite does surprise me a little

By like 40 yds...
And fat Eddie got injured in week 3 for the entire season I would hope Blue has more than him.
The point is, there are no LSU running backs that are substantially better or better at all than ingram and Lacy.
Ware backs up Charles, Hill can't separate himself from Bernard, and Blue is a backup as well. So the Bama vs LSU NFL running back argument is kind of stupid

You want the real answer?
Because you and thousands of LSU fans convince yourselves it's true when it isn't because it helps deal with the pain of losing to Alabama.
Both Mark Ingram and Eddie Lacy have more career yardage than any LSU back in the league currently, and both are having better seasons per ypc than any LSU running back in the league.
LSU has 3 running backs in the league, Alabama has 5 currently, with three being starters, one a backup in his rookie year, and one a 5th round pick who is playing on special teams and had a kickoff return TD this year.
Anyways, point is, LSU fans love making shite up.

Spencer Ware:183 carries, 790 yards, 4.3 avg.
Jeremy Hill: 195, 788, 4.0
Mark Ingram: 150, 772, 5.1
T.J. Yeldon: 120, 432, 3.6
Eddie Lacy: 71, 360, 5.1
Derrick Henry: 82, 354, 4.3
Alfred Blue: 67, 318, 4.7
I'm sorry that I could only find three LSIxU RBs for you guys to brag about in the NFL. They seem to be underachieving since Bama's RBs are all busts.
