That's what happens when you have a player that doesn't quit on his team you give him the ball as much as possible and he doesn't cry about aches and pains, he does what he can to help the team.

It's all about potential. That's why Henry was a athlete coming out of high school. He projected better as a lb. But the kid wanted to play rb.
Your argument about draft position is deflection at it's finest.

What a pathetic thread. Hand picking numbers in an attempt to troll doesn't make you cleaver.

I can't blame an auburn poster for hating on Fournette
He has a seasons worth of highlight reels vs them alone

It seems no one wants to acknowledge he had a high ankle sprain that held him back all yr.
He had just a couple games where he was healthy and I believe one of those was against BAMA.
Last yr he rushed for just shy of 2000 yards in only 12 games not 13 or 14 like some backs.
He was in Heisman consideration until he faced an Alabama defense.
Sorry I think he was one of the best LSU players ever.

Would have finished a couple spots higher had he not been injury-prone

Loved watching him play in an lsu uniform

His one injury was a high ankle sprain. It handcuffed him this year.
If he had been able to play healthy he could have repeated last year type stats and likely he attends the Heisman ceremony.

Despite playing only two and a half years, Fournette still amassed 3,830 yards and 40 rushing touchdowns, which ranks 4th best in school history. In the process, he set single-season records for rushing yards (1,953 in 2015), rushing touchdowns (22 in 2015), overall touchdowns (23 in 2015), 200-yard games (4 in 2015), 100-yard games (10 in 2015), and rushing yards per game (162.8 in 2015). He also set the single-game record for points (30 vs. Texas Tech, 2015) and touchdowns (5 vs. Texas Tech, 2015).

Leonard Fournette finished 157th all time in FBS rushing yards quote: Right behind Carnell "Cadillac" Williams. ...with 125 fewer carries and 10 fewer games... Plus, he still has more career rushing yards than any player to ever suit up for Alabama.
Not a single player ever to suit for Alabama has fewer championships than LF7. Thousands of players to suit up for Alabama have more championships than LF7.

LSU fans trying to defend him are hilarious. It's not about what you could have done, it's about what you did do and he didn't do much.

Couldn't pull off that single season rushing record though. That belongs to the real GOAT.
So the kid who played in 4 extra games had more total yards?
That's like boasting about having the best GPA in community college...common bama you're better than this

You mean Derrick Henry?
The DH that needed 400 carries to break that record?
The same DH who is the only Heisman Trophy winning RB since OJ Simpson (1968) to fall into the 2nd rd of the NFL draft?
The same DH who had the Center on his team (Ryan Kelly) drafted ahead of him?
The same DH that will watch LF get drafted in the top 5-10 of the NFL draft and get 10-15 mil more than him in bonus money?
That Derrick Henry?
The very same Derrick Henry who is from Florida and isn't good enough to start for an NFL team his rookie year.
That Derrick Henry

Playing through injuries, especially in a contact sport, like Fournette did this year, only makes said injuries worse. Logic man. Use that little brain of yours.

If LSU was about to play in the CFP do you think he would still sit out for the bowl game?
