The worst individual is a Georgia friend of mine that played football his whole life before going to UGA. He could name every player on the current roster and a plethora of Dawgs from the past but only knew who three other SEC head coaches were (Saban, Spurrier and Meyer) at that time.

As a general fanbase, probably one of the Alabama schools.

It wasn't meant as an insult. He is the most likeable character on the show. There was a reason there was always a huge love fest thread after every away game yall had.

Uga fans are better online than in person. Went to a college prep highschool in GA, and 1/8th of my,school went to UGA. They go up normal, then come back thinking they are better than everyone else.

Had a friend who went to UGA and graduated with a Political Science degree tell my friend with an engineering degree from GA Southern he was going further places because where he graduated.

I didn't take it as an insult.

I can agree with that. Three of my friends that went to UGA came back for Christmas break and one said these exact words that the other two agreed with:

"We're living how everyone that couldn't get in to Georgia wishes they could. That's why people come up from Southern, GCSU and Kennesaw every weekend."

I've never heard a douchier statement come out of a previously undouchey person.

A lot of them are cool but others are just so inhumanely pretentious. One kid at a Sigma Chi football tailgate (I think it was UGA vs. Auburn) told me he knew someone that got into Yale and Harvard but not UGA. It's a very good academic school, but some take it too far.

To be fair, all fanbases have their alumni and fans that think more of their town, athletics and academics than is within reason. I.E. the Ole Miss fans that throw around basketball coaching names like Pearl, Smart and Marshall to replace Kennedy. Ridiculous.

I'd say UGA is the "new money" of good academic schools in the SEC. It is a good school, but they don't act like they've been there before, so to speak.

I think the only way that would be possible is if that person didn't actually apply to UGA...

Have heard the same thing time and time again. "Oh, this guy applied to Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech, but couldn't get into UGA"

I even had one guy tell me I went to LSU cause I couldn't get into UGA. Uga is a great school, but there was only 1 school I applied to because it was the only one I wanted to go to.
But yeah, not all UGA fans or students are like this. Every school, has douchebag fans and students.

While that does sound douchey there is some truth to that.

No joke, but its the mentality of the current UGA students. Again, UGA is a great school, not trying to say differently.

But notice that in every thread where an SEC-wide subject is being discussed, UGA fans give us the UGA team update, whether that is relevant or not.

Just for the record, this doesn't necessarily show a lack of objectivity. Maybe a degree of narcissism. Maybe

Some truth? Absolute truth and why wouldn't it be? Athens is recognized as one of the best university towns in the country. Why wouldn't kids come up from Southern, GCSU and Kennesaw every chance they could?

Douchey or not, it is the truth, so DWI.

It's certainly the best college town in Georgia. Good God Statesboro, Kennesaw and Milly are awful.
