Cane's is still tGOAT

Driving back from Texas, stopped at a Cane's in Baton Rouge. I was really expecting something, but it was just bland and overall tasteless. Maybe it was just a bad location or something.

We've got some solid taco joints here in Auburn, just FYI. Solid little Mexican community.

Most underrated gas station chicken is at Parkers. I got some filling up in Bluffton last year and it was good and cheap.

Texans eat Tacos at least 10 times a week. We are freaking obsessed with tacos. That has lead to some really tasty taco restaurants.

BR for some reason has the best Greek/Lebanese food in the south

Also Torchy's isn't a top 10 Taco in Houston these days

Torchy's is good. But it's like a 7/10 on the taco scale of deliciousness. There are better places. That's how serious we take our tacos.

I do love some good Greek food. Melbourne Australia happens to have the best Greek food I've ever had in my life. And I've spent a week in Greece

I'll make a point to try some next time I'm in BR.

I will say the first time I had Torchy's was at ACL in 2010 and it was a borderline religious experience. Then again I was completely ripped

Dear god is it somebody’s first semester in college station?

Canes has better toast. Canes has better fries. Canes has better tea. Chicken and sauce is a tossup.

People only went to laynes because it was way cheaper back in the day (not so much the case now)and as you alluded to has three locations in town(Canes has one which is right next to Laynes)The newest one opened not too long ago on Harvey mitchell far away from campus. But if I’m over there I’m eating zaxbys.

I will fight you on Fuego vs Torchys though. Fuego all day

CS just got a Zaxbys too. It's over by the towerpoint HEB. Their spicy fried mushrooms are pretty good

Don't get me wrong, it's a really good place to get some dank tacos.

I have to go torchys. Fuego changed up their salsa recently and it doesn't taste as good. Also they are terrible at getting orders right if you deviate off the menu.

I will fight you. Coming to Cstat this weekend. Meet me in the Layne's/Cane's parking lot.

Layne's sauce is better. It isn't even close.

Layne's toast is better. Cane's isn't even that good.

Layne's fries are better.

Chicken is a toss up.

Cane's is not great. Cane's is alright to eat but only if Layne's is closed. Pretty sure Cane's is open an hour later.

I only ever went to Canes when the line was crazy at Laynes.

I'd wait in line. Two reasons for Cane's:

1. I have a coupon for free food

2. Layne's is closed and I was already in the mood for some chicken strips
