He is one of the best new posters we have IMHO.... which isn't worth shite though

On your recommendation, I will back down. However, I'd take Mantis over him any day of the week.

How is execution expensive? A syringe is pretty cheap. Don't say it's the cost of the lethal injection drugs. You can get a gallon of bleach for about $3.00.

Death row is really expensive

Typically the process takes a long arse time and consumes so much in legal fees that it's much cheaper to keep someone in jail for life

Plus in the case of wrongful convictions you didn't kill the guy... you just jailed him

The appeals process costs the courts hundreds of thousands.

Not to try to or anything, but my thinking on if I ever decide to post something that's on the first page, if I feel I have a different take on it that I would like everyone to see, it's easier for it to get noticed if it's own thread, not getting lost in all of replies. But that ONLY applies if it's a legitimate, intelligent, and different take. JMO.

I understand.

sorry carry on.

But yes guy is a douche if there ever was one. He kidnapped/carjacked her, then if I am not mistaken, tried to rape her or take her clothes off, then shot her and dumped the body in the middle of the road to die. Worthless POS

Not that it makes it any more tragic, but she was a beautiful girl. Sad. Praying for her family to find peace and comfort after all of this.

No, my aunt was murdered by two teenage boys going on a joy ride. They threw hunks of concrete at her car. Killed her instantly. I was only like 4 at that time, but I was 20 when I lost two of my closest friends from my time living in Orlando for that disney scholarship. Don't really want to talk about the details of that though

It's tough losing anyone for any reason. My mother died almost 2 years ago from a blood clot that formed in her leg traveling up to her lungs. Just all of the sudden. And she had just gotten over a battle from cancer. My friend's father committed suicide like a few years before that. I had a rough time of it, but I can't imagine going through something like that, or what you have been through. Sympathies, Memphis.

yeah

and they still get it wrong sometimes

My grandfather was murdered... died from injuries from being pistol whipped by a guy who took his gun away from him during a home burglary (died less than two days later from the injuries)

The suspect was never caught but even if he was I'd prefer to see him serve life in prison.

This "Germans" BS and 'Scroll Down' nonsense has gotten out of hand. And to feel the need to inject that into this thread is beyond ridiculous, especially after the OP mentioned he knew the deceased,or at least a close circle of friends.

Yep. My brother was killed in an accident in 2002 and I STILL can't get into my car without thinking about it. It never goes away.

To tell you the truth I didnt even read it that closely.

Marines you are good people to start, marine and Aub. Sorry for your day. As another person who has lost a brother, nephew, and some cousins(had a cousin decapitated while snowmobiling under a wire rope 40 yards in front of me) at young ages, its hard, but you learn to move on. Hopefully the SOB fries, no easy leathal injection for him.

Anyone watch "Law Abiding Citizen?"

We need to do to this scumbag what Clyde Shelton did in that movie to the dude who murdered his wife and daughter.

Put him to death in the most agonizing way possible.
