Not only was Barker NOT a real freshman, he already had significant playing time in 7 NCAA DI games. That's more than Cam Newton had when he got his first start at Auburn as a senior.

The only true playing time Barker got was the 91 Tennessee game where Woods on got hurt. The other games where mop up time.

I have the 1992 Alabama media guide in my hand remember it is for the 91 season.
List of games and plays by Barker before he started vs LSU the 9th game of the year.
1. Temple 0
2. Florida 33 in a blow out loss
3. Georgia 0
4. Vandy 14
5. UTChatt. 13
6. Tulane 29
7. Tenn 28 Woodson hurt
8. miss St 8
He attp only 17 passes before LSU
So this talk of you saying he played in 7 games is a lie. 2nd he had all this experience is also a lie he only threw the ball 17 times before he started. If I tell you a grasshopper can pull a freight train hook it up.
